Red Velvet is great! My personal favorite (besides Psycho) is Peek-A-Boo. They have a "red" and "velvet" side, this is part of their "velvet" side. The "red" side is like their bright and pop songs.

This and mamamoo's HIP almost came out at the same time and both got extremely popular, i think it took more than a year before both got kicked out of the top 100 charts in South Korea. Good times hahaha

You should check out super junior it's their 20th anniversary next year they paved the way to those kpop groups and their vocals are incredible plus their music videos are hilarious i highly recommend: black suit, burn the floor, mamacita, lo siento ,don't wait , show time

I love Red Velvet but the company's choice for dark or sinister concepts confuses me. The singing is top tier and they are lovely ladies but some of the songs concepts are dark for no reason other than making them stand out in a crowded girl group market.
I love them MORE specifically for that reason. It stands out and is a nice contrast from the vibes i get elsewhere.

The Group is called Red Velvet for a reason. The Red is the bubblegum girlgroup aspect, while the Velvet is the RnB aspect. It's in the name...
Not really a fan of this group but even I knows the meaning of the group name. Even Lee's wife got the gist of it on her first reaction to Seulrene's MONSTER MV. The dark concepts do make them stand out but they're good at it so it's not a problem.
