I absolutely loved this vibe, I’ve always had a fascination with this retro 80’s synth wave style especially the darker sad ones, and seeing all the comments makes me wonder, how many fans on here are just reaching there 30s, as in born around the end of the 80s era, ergo 1988-92 just becuase maybe that’s why it’s so strangely familiar like going home to a town you haven’t seen since you were a toddler.

I really wonder... why some days just feel like... despair? Some days, a feeling, both emotional and physical, becomes apparent. It stays there, having you realize it's there. Your brain feels pressed, your throat feels like it's being clenched, your eyes feel tired but won't close... thoughts start surfacing, "what am I doing...?", "why does it feel like there's nothing...?". I believe there is no answer... guess I'll sleep and wake up next morning with this wonder gone...

I’m only 21 and I’ve had the blessing/curse of studying music from all time periods. But coming of age during this unique moment of digital mass marketed musical forms, I’m truly hopeless for the future of popular music. I love this type for its honest simplicity, rather than mock sincerity and empathy. But it’s still worrisome that such simple music is all we can enjoy anymore
simplicity is a virtue! less is more! but i think you're talking about mainstream music, which I agree is sad. however, there are TONS of great super-niche indie album channels on youtube, just search the genre. if you like it, and can afford it, buy it! :)
