I recommend to everyone to read the translated interview she did with De Morgen Magazine on her Facebook page. She articulates her views on gender in DJing much better than here. Also, more is exposed about her personal life and previous careers. A top interview altogether. Much better than this.
Young sweet hearth :) 10 yrs ago there weren't less female DJs and those female DJs 10-15 yrs ago were banging proper techno and house lot better than female DJs nowadays, just the difference is that there wasn't social media to hype them every day on FB like Nina fucking Kraviz (im tired of her.) so many great techno DJs retired leaving more space to sexy bimbos like her keep selling them everywhere like crazy and turning out the once great techno scene in something less than techno today. So you don't know much about the past techno scene which is normal. But you Amelie you are good and smart, just you still have a lot more to learn. Keep it up and you'll be great !
