I literally used Amber to defeat that Ruin Guard during the hidden tears quest. I stood on top of the platform and kept shooting him with fire. The ruin guard was down below the stage I was standing and tried to shoot me a few times, but it was easy to dodge. Mostly, it was hard to shoot with arrow, So I was using Amber's Coco belly button bombs and throwing it down. I defeated with almost little to no damage, but it took a long time.
With beidou these ruin guards are like easiest since they have so predictable routines. Except when they randomly start spinning and I am caught off-guard then suddenly my main's dead
if you doesnt have noelle or zongli, aim your shoot to its eyes twice then hit it with everything you got then dodge its attack for a while then repeat till it die
