The Fightins' offense did a great job of picking up a shaky Ranger. Good to see everyone stepping up to fill the hole left by Harp and Schwarber.

Ranger’s last several outings have not been as impressive as his earlier starts. Is it fatigue or an injury - hard to say. He did pitch well when his family came to see him pitch for the first time

I know it's a long season but this stretch before the all star break will define the Phillies season.With 3 regular starters out ,if the Phillies can keep the Braves at bay until those who are on IL came back ,the division is ours.
We also had 3 starters out during the Boston and Baltimore series, and sat 3 starters during the London series. We havent had a full strength team since april
Remember when Trea Turner had a cycle on his birthday? He just seems to always do really well on his birthday. Funny coincidence.
Going to have to win a bunch like this in the near future, so it was good to see a few of the guys step up.

Miserable series but at least we came up even. We got some real competition coming up. Anxious to see how we’ll do against competing teams. I lost a lot of confidence after the orioles series. We gotta get tougher.

Jazz wants to be a Phillie lol 0:20 if the Marlins are in sell mode at the trade deadline and I was the Phillies I would pursue Jazz for sure. He would be a great outfield bat for the Phils which is exactly what they will be in the market for. Even with the Marlins being sellers at the deadline idk of they would part with Jazz, but if they are really in rebuild mode why would they hold on to him and waste his career when they could get assets in return. Dont think it will happen but just a thought and something I would like my Phils to pursue in the trade market

Go get an eye exam , I watched that play two times and it was seriously close . If they challenged that call , there probably wouldn’t be conclusively enough to overturn it .

Would be nice to see these guys excel without Harper, Schwarber, and JT. Build their confidence while key players are out will only make this team better when they return.

That missed strike 3 out call early in the game, I had a feeling Ranger wasn't going to have a good outing.
That was so bad...horrible missed call. To be fair, that ump was missing strike calls for both sides the entire game.

Too many men left on base this series for the Phils. Gotta clean it up going forward. They’re getting hits, but not when they need them.
It's maddening. They left six runners on base after the first two innings.....they had runners on first and third with no outs in the eighth and they didn't score...ugh.
Ranger pitches were hit hard but a win is a win go philies

He'll be ok. It's a long season and teams have more tape on him. They are adjusting to him and on top of that it be hot as hell out there....
No pitcher goes a whole year throwing shutout ball....his stuff has been less good so he likely needs to find what is off and fix it...all part of the season.

I feel like Dahls base running when trea hit the double to get the lead, Dahl screened the shortstop like you do in nhl with a goalie, and the shortstop was able to pick up on the ball very last second causing it to slip by the shortstop, very smart play by Dahl, if Dahls lead was farther to 3 or closer to 2 the ball would of went right into the short stop glove, very good positioning and iq play
Dahl was almost hit by the ball which would have been the end of the inning. Not intentional.
