Who are you and what is your relevance to the Fijian people to dictate to us how to behave towards the Queen...when you do not have the faintest clue on the background???
@@EremasiCamaTamanisau He's right. I'm Fijian, and have no idea why Fijians used to worship her. No pride in our culture, we just accepted our white rulers who oppressed us and thought we were monkeys. British people themselves dislike the queen lol.
I know, as you do, that the British forcefully colonised alot of places. However, Fiji was an exception. Dominant Fijian chiefs ceded their country to Britain in the hope that it would be better than being inevitably taken by Americans, Germans or the French. Fijian chiefs knew that they were no match for the white man's weaponry. I'm not attempting to defend the British, but that is what happened, and that is why Fijians generally don't rubbish Britain.
@@manuwilson4695 You right this is white man civilization created jobs technology and wasn't British only French Spanish and easy task to deal with small Island Country with no one Leader as King Maori Samoa Tahiti Hawaii etc Lucky Tonga treaty under protectorate proud of our Monarchy survived 3500 years ago! 😊🙏
The only thing pathetic is your comment. Sorry that the video didn’t provide you with the historical abuse you were looking for. What I saw was extreme respect from all sides. That girl would have held onto that memory for her entire life, yet you want to degrade to suit your racist version of history
No. You're referring to Verata in Tailevu. They're the ones who returned to Viti. But there is even a Verats that predates the one that was written by the colonial (1874-1970). It's in the Navitilevu bay.
Did you ever regret getting independent…. Look at French Polynesia… people there got French passports, all benefits from France, free healthcare and education…. All social support You would be the same under British… was it worth it
@@EremasiCamaTamanisau i am happy you gained a prosperity and sovereignty Some countries did they same and it dod not end up well Like some African countries where the is corruption, no jobs and crimes.
