Three vehicle crash leaves two dead and one injured Sunday afternoon

At around 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, Colorado Springs Police Department officers responded to a fatal multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of S Powers Blvd and E Fountain Blvd.

My grandpa was almost killed in this car crash but the driver missed him by inches. He kept driving because he had to catch a flight back home and he doesn’t know anyone died, he felt really horrible because earlier that day he had seen kids playing at the park, and really hoped that there were no children in the back of that car

We need to have more Police presence out. People treat Powers like it's a speedway. Road rage is also very real in this town including on Powers. I drive for Uber in an 8-to-9-hour day I can maybe see 2 or 3 Police Officers out. Lack of presence - gives false impressions that people can do whatever they want.
