I'm really hard to please regarding SciFi at this channel but THIS one, even though it's comedic, is FIVE STARS !!!
Thank You !
I am the same. They have WAY to many videos where they cut off the ending. Newsflash! I DONT WATCH SCI FY OR HORROR TO THINK! I DONT WANT TO "FIGURE IT OUT MYSELF". I watched to be entertained, not puzzled about why there wasnt an addition 4 or 5 minutes to provide an ending. There are a few with implied endings but I am not talking about those. Where yall seem to hit the mark EVERY time is your comedy videos. You have another that I really like (along with this oe) about two brothers going to their mothers funeral... I think it is called "Friendly Vampire" but not sure. I watched "Good Guy With A Gun" and it was truely both hilarious and horrifying. Keep pumping out the comedy AND GIVE US ENDINGS TO YOUR VIDEOS! Oh, and they dont always have to have some message behind them!
@@garyzimmerman62 Yeah, good point. Love the channel and their videos... but sometimes I'm left annoyed at the endings. I've liked most of the videos I've seen so far though.
@@garyzimmerman62 Your comment is the main reason I watched this short. 97% of the films on here are horrible, 1/2 written lazy, yet visually appealing films. If this one actually has a plot then I want to watch it.
EDIT: you were right, it had an actual story and was very good.
I love this! What an amazing tap dance performance! Funny too! But it’s also melancholy and a little sad. It’s the end of our world and the only things left of mankind are trivial little trinkets except for our gift of music. And the aliens discover it and understand the universal language. Can you imagine? And they find great joy in it. ❤
And the Voyager has that gold record on it and it does have music from around the world on it. Hopefully whomever finds it can figure out how to play it.
@@Kutil99 supposedly there's also a turntable and pictograms showing how to use it, or at least instructions how to build one.
I just hope they have air to transmit sound.
AMEN
They obviously speak Minion.
Watched it countless times. Leaves me grinning. Every. Time. My single all time fave short
Love this so much - the sheer joy if it !!
How could you NOT smile! Aliens got rhythm!
I love this I sent it to my Granddaughter, she took dance lessons for 12 years. She now helps at the same place she learned at.
I was waiting for them to be 'Rick Rolled' at the end!
Loved this shorty. Definitely a fun film now one of my favorites
This is definitely one I must put in my overall TOP 10 shorts I have watched. Now it is really tough to say what the other 9 are because I have seen so many shorts (has to be at least 300 plus) and I have seen a lot of very good ones. I also worked in the motion picture business (on the money end) for over 20 years Executive Producing films. But I don't care. This one is just an all-around exceptional short. Meets all the requirements! Also, I saw this one a couple years ago.
What are a few of your favorites?
How fun! Probably due to my age, but I could definitely hear a Rod Serling epilogue in that last scene.
The choreography is wonderful, and I love the fact that the beginning could be described as "If Blue Man Group and the Minions had a baby...." ;)
Music...an universal language. Congrats for remind
Beautiful!
Thank you guys, i was happy to saw this movie
Потрясающе! Кто бы мог подумать, что ребята будут танцевать степ👍
Just as good the second time around.
LMAO at the tunage:
After You've Gone lyrics
After you've gone and left me cryin'
After you've gone, there's no denyin'
You'll feel blue, you'll feel sad
You'll miss the dearest pal you ever had
There'll come a time, now, don't forget it
There come a time when you'll you regret it
Someday, when you grow lonely
Your heart will break like mine and you'll want me only
After you've gone, after you've gone away
After I'm gone, after we break up
After I'm gone, you're gonna wake up
You will find that you were blind
To let somebody come and change your mind
After the years we've been together
Through joy and tears, all kinds of weather
Someday,blue and downhearted
You'll long to be with me right back were you started
After I'm gone, after I'm gone away
I love it!!!
Wow what an excellent and unusual sci-fi video. Great stuff.
I'm curious as to the average age of the people who liked this is. I'm 48 and loved it after a slow start was thrilled to have stayed.
I'm 62 and loved it!
OMG! One of the most beautiful shorts I've seen! Amazing!
I saw this years ago and it's one of the most entertaining short film that should have had a sequel, perfect choreography music acting its just amazing fun.
This is one of my all time Dust favorites!! Thank you for showing it again. You've just made my morning coffee taste better! Yeeeeee! 💃💃💃💃
for a second there, i thought i was watching the Blueman group.
I remember this one. Love it!
I thought this was going to be another "Good riddance to humanity" story, but it's really the discovery of one of the joys of being human. Excellent!
Perfectly awesome! Bravo!
And Jukebox said 'let there be dance', and on the seventh day saw Terra was good
Think my mouth was open all thru this Tyler..
Well Done to You Sir!
Finding items from another culture is often times guesswork in understanding their function. Those three had absolutely no reference to the items they telephoned aboard their ship. Because the had no reference, they were often wrong in deciding the function of the item(s). Except for the music they heard being played by that jukebox.
Would have be good to know was the cause of the destruction of the Earth; it appeared it was struck by something big.
This has to be one of the best Dust shorts posted, if not the funniest.
I loved this so so much, made me really nostalgic.
Excellent, great job. Thank you
Absolutely phenomenal! Even without knowing the language, we're able to follow the story, and it's highly entertaining.
Amazing work by the writer, director, and actors.
cool
aliens stepping out of boredom :)
I thought this started with Blues music. Then the next music was Bing Crosby tap dancing. Was that it? Very entertaining.
I think that was very entertaining and the topic was great.
I loved this - will watch it again later with my daughter
Wtf did I just watch and why couldn't I stop watching it?
Wasn't expecting what was going to unfold on this one. 😳 LOL, HILARIOUS! 😆 👏
This was great fun!
Enjoyed this more than I expected
This put a big grin on my stupid face! Lots of subliminal messages here... Best one for me is despite all the adversity, music brings everyone together... The introduction of the tap dancing was sublime and beautifully executed. Well done aliens....😍
One of the best! 🛸 🌎
Absolutely delightful
This is so brilliant, awesome, fantastical, magical! I couldn’t stop smiling, I don’t want this short to ever end!! Great job to everyone involved!!!
Math is great but Music is the universal language.
Absolutely Fantastic. So good it hurts.
I understated. Lethal. One can skip the pain, and just die.
Never seen this before. Made feel some type of way!! Five stars, two thumbs up.
PLEEZE enable CC close caption!!! Please!!
Brilliant! A very cool way to tell a story.
OMG I thoroughly enjoyed this!!!
To me this is the best short video ever on u tube ever I think about this all the time it should be a TV show
Thanks. I needed to smile.
What a beautiful story, Happy discover the end arrive after the invention of jukebox.
Amazing 👍🏻👍
I always knew aliens were weird.
Always realy enjoyed this one.
Brilliant!!!!!
Wow, brilliant!
I love this one!
I've seen this before & still enjoy it. I love the low budget set & makeup. The actors speaking (probably swearing) in a made-up language means they had to rely more on facial expressions & body language. Somehow, it all comes together with a good laugh & funny concept & great entertainment value. Very good work 👏 in my opinion.
I want tap shoes now.
Well done!
what, is the jukebox battery-powered?
Ahhh. The earth was destroyed, but the best thing about it was discovered...apart from dogs, especially German Shepherd Dogs!
and dachshunds!
@@zethraelofteldrassil3149 Hey... I love them as well!. i had two growing up!
Can easily be transcript for an onstage show.
How did they learn to dance so quickly
Really love this concept. Well done!
The "Universal" language.
Very good!
still on the top as one of my all time favs!
made me grin like an idiot.
Awesome. :-)
F.A.B. Cheers!
Already seen it, about an year ago.
I love it thanks❤😊
Come on, @Dust, the least you can do is let the credits play full-screen, even though you've sped them up beyond a human's ability to read them.
That's brog and ogg
Funny taste in music.
Tik tak paddy whak kluk kluk kluk!!!
You guys shared this like 4 years ago.
That is why it is part of THROWBACK Thursday, lol.
@@havoc9206 I see that. Kind of missed the old format of an hour of throwbacks.
SCIFI JAZZ good show
@watchdust9 how
Good use of a polytunnel
🥰
This was a nice, funny film because none of that space junk was a pistol lol.
at the end was waiting for tesla model s floating in space.....
The rhythm IS gonna get you!
One of the most good and original sci-fi shorts I ever saw, quite frankly I am flabbergasted by this, the theme, the music, the message, the actors….wow !!!❤❤❤😂😂😂
So THAT’S where my Amazon packages went!
The Blue Man Group took ‘em…
👊🤣👍
OMG! So true.
I can't thank you enough for this throwback!!! It's one of my favorite episodes EVER!!!!!!
I was going to hollar out "I REMEMBER THIS ONE!" but then I realized it's Throwback Thursday and I'm still going to watch it.
I remember this one!
New to me, but I ceased subbing a year, or two ago, to come back. I am a sucker for tap dancing anyway.
This is brilliant! As said before by someone: If this doesn´t make you smile, what will?
Great story! It must have been hard to find aliens that tap dance so well!
I remember the first time this was put up. Halarious and poignant. And I think it takes a rare talent to put those two things together.
This is how me and my friends are when we're drunk off rum and vodka at 4:00 in the morning in the Taco Bell parking lot
Also FANTASTIC tappers. It was so crisp and isolated it sounded SO GOOD
Bravo! Absolutely Stunning concept. Very injoyable.
What a smile I got out of this. Brilliant and well done.💯💯❤❤❤❤❤
