1:50ish Personally, I never listen to asmr when going to sleep. I always sleep on my side, so the only type of earbud which would work for me are the ones that go deep into your inner ear (sleep earbuds), and the idea of those makes me really uncomfortable lol
I had a head band one with cable. But that cable disinterested over the years. Then I got one cheap one with Bluetooth. It was advertised for sleeping. But it's kinda bad. Since I sometimes crank up the volume, whenever it reaches maximum volume, it beeps very loudly. If the battery dies it will complain via audio, also very loud. There are buttons on the front, which might get pushed when you're rolling around, and it's capable of being used for calls, which at worst could call the last person in your call history (didn't happen to me yet). The actual speaker-part (that sits on your ears) is smaller but noticeably thicker. Also the thing with Bluetooth is, you have to remember to turn it off in the morning (especially when you stay at home that day) So yeah, if you get Bluetooth, check reviews (also off-site if that's possible, die to possible paid/fake reviews). Or maybe get one a bit more expensive (not on Amazon?), that's really made for sleep? Or get one with cable, and if your phone doesn't have a headphone jack, or you just want to, get a Bluetooth adapter that runs on USB or whatever. There are barebones circuit boards, that cost very little. Put some electrical tape on, to protect it a bit and avoid shorts (and cover up the LED). Then put it on/in/under a bedside table/drawer (aux extension cables are also pretty nice), or put between the mattress and the bedframe (not under the mattress!) or whatever. This sounds like way more effort, and it kinda is, but the cheap battery ones are just not designed correctly for sleep. Edit: oh yeah: and if you get a cable one, I found that routing the cable out the top sometimes works better, and avoids tangling a bit
@@DerfaelB I got what I believe to be the Musicozy sleep headphone, they unfortunately have some issues with the wires where it’s loose so they get tangled up inside that band. That can be a bit of a hassle to deal with, but a plus is they are only $25 and there are some brands that are a bit cheaper. There are some earphones that are small enough to sleep with, but they’re usually a bit more expensive, at least $70. And now I don’t have to take melatonin and I literally can’t sleep without asmr, lol.
This came at such an amazing time for me, cause unfortunately, life and mental trauma hit me harder than a monster truck's wheel... basically, a lot of... things happened, and it made me shiver with tension and me feeling super upset and depressed... I really am having a hard time with things, and it's been really hard to even sleep without getting nightmares about anything...! I was able to get a sleep headphone band for fairly cheap. But that was before I got new hearing aids with audio streaming capabilities.
