I'm a 27- years old Bengali woman. I'm preparing for UGC NET JRF Exam in Management subject. I don't even touch other social media applications but I cannot stay a single day without using UA-cam. Bhaiya, your tip about setting the phone to greyscale really helped a lot. I have now set all my devices to greyscale and made them feel unattractive. I told myself that I won't remove greyscale before I get selected in IIT.

Some advice for new aspirants. - don’t even watch youtube if you are distracted easily. By Don’t watch I mean don’t even give that 1/2 hr too. Do a dopamine detox and stop wqtching youtube until you crack jee. Open youtube see for the doubt and close it. Don’t ever open untiil next doubt. You might say this is bullshit Vdos tempts you little bit of watching soothes that temptation. trust me temptation increases even more after watching. It is 100times harder to maintain that time limit then quitting. Do anything. Even gaming for a bit is better than youtube you will feel that guilt and have that exact track of time. And that guilt overpowers the stimulation. But while watching youtube you will never have guilt until you have lost a whole lotta time. And still sometimes that guilt is not enough.
I only face one problem that I waste a lot of time . I waste approx 1-2 hours on UA-cam I had tried to stop it it works for a few days but again I starts repeating it please tell some solution
