This guitarist doesn’t appear to be in the same page as Angelina. Where’s Ivan or Egil or the guy in many of her Norwegian rehearsals. Angelina perseveres despite.
He's too slow for her and she doesn't seem able to reach him.

Thankyou Boris, Angelina's voice is so clear and rich. I'm not sure about the guitarist, the music is so straight forward, somehow he makes it look like it's hard work. It would have been so much better if she could have brought Ivan over from California...
Yes, I agree, this day and the next day (from Mery's video and the short pieces which I found over Internet, mostly in the Instagram stories) were not the best days for the guitarist. Strange, because he had already played for Angelina back in 2015, and did it better.
I agree with both of you. He was having a very bad day, particularly on this song. It took away from a superior vocal performance to the the other cover which was already stellar. It's almost painful to think what-could-have-been.
Still I'm not complaining that it was captured. Thumbs up.

@@borispalenovski6302 Thanks again Boris. You did your best to save this song, but as others have said, we really miss Ivan. (And in the future I am sure we could discuss the 3 seconds, for me it was a musical genius improvising and rescuing the whole song within microseconds).
I really prefer Egil to accompany Angelina

Where's Ivan when you need him. She could have done better without that guitar player. She did her best to stay with him , but he was not playing for her. Gotta give her props for still doing an amazing job with this.
I agree. She tried to get him on time, then just dealt with it professionally.
@@mikehaun5690 Most (All?) other vocalist would have given up, or become furious.She managed to partly bring it back on track, thanks to her extreme improvising skills.
In Ski, in November 2017, the keyboards player messed up completely playing "Every Time We Say Goodbye", but even then Angelina was able to save the song, singing literally crosswise the accompaniment.

I didn't dare to talk to her that day.
