Been watching truck and tractor pull since early eighties.A all the classics when there were TV commercials and it was at the Arena. Blue Thunder, Orange Blossom Special, Mother Jugs and Speed.....wanted to know with the 4Wd trucks, are the front wheels set so far apart compared to the rear wheels because of the way that massive engine has to aligned whatever way to power all four wheels instead of just the two rear? Or something else maybe? Two wheel and four wheel drive super modified is really incredible to watch still after all these years! Keep up the great art form/sport and stay strong all of you! God Bless!
@@rustedratchetgarage6788 Cool! Thanks! All these years.. Makes total sense. I first was into funny cars and dragsters before even seeing truck and tractor pulling as a kid and I would see in old books in the library pictures of drag racing cars with bigger slicks in the front I guess front wheel drive racers and thinking it was something only mechanics could talk about. Something secret deep engineering wise but this is a practicle traction thing mostly....really cool! Thanks alot! Probably the loudest and most powerful expression of engineering around! Not speed but over the top POWER! Still love watching it!
That van has been around for 30+ yrs back when super modified was an exhibition class. There are video of a few of these trucks like diamond T and slimer and why not from 1989!!! .I think that's the son driving these days....
I love watching them pull.
great video!!
I really like the ones that are actually trucks or at least look like a truck.
Stupid $ money into those rigs, motors alone are $$$$- so fun to watch!!
6:20 that is what the kill switch is for, thankfully nobody got hurt👍
Damn really, a second later would mean 2 meters more

Its so the rear can grab packed dirt not churned dirt makes a difference not spinning the rear in the fronts ruts
