- Driving up Alpe d'Huez in France. The road is well known amongst cyclists, but is a great ride for anybody! Wide roads, great views, and at the top the Alpe d'Huez ski resort. Would be nice to go here during winter!

Well, that was a lot quicker than the bus! I went on my first ever ski trip there about 35 years ago, I can barely recognise the resort it's a lot larger now.

I mounted it once a few years ago under the snow in a Clio 3 car, it is really difficult to mount the engine suffers. You really need a good vehicle to climb the Alpe Huez

@@RoadtripThroughTheLens Alpe D'Huez looked very much like the Ghost Town that Lance Armstrong described it when he said it you guys come here during the month ot May or outside of July and August and during Ski Season that it was a Ghost Town.
I have heard that if you come down the Galiber to the Lauratet on the way to Bourg D'Oisans that the road is littered with very heavy traffic and several dangerous tunnels.
There was one tunnel that you drove through on the Gotthard Pass on one of your videos that seemed very long. I am not sure how dangerous you consider those tunnels to be
