Would you agree? Is there industry pull back by IT to reclaim data governance control? Is this something consultants typically suggest for less mature organizations? Would you place this role under the CDO? I am concerned about paralleled siloed development as the CDO. I have a great relationship with CIO, we are just trying to make sense of this recommendation and this job title is a new one!
