And then so many kids believe they are ugly and have selfsteem issues because they don't look like that. B-Free also made fun of the BTS guys for wearing make-up because that's something girls do. How does that affect their music in any way? That doesn't make them any less hip-hop. That's just picking on their personal life. He's trying to act like he's something different and special, but if he keeps directing everything people do then everyone will turn out to be the same as him. I'm very sure he doesn't want that.
That's just part of rap culture. Especially with people who came up as battle rappers. Their whole thing was to pick apart other people so it always carries into their music. One of the most frustrating parts of this video is that they titled it "Jessi's breast surgery Confession". Her whole point was about how people are always too scared in this industry to disrespect someone to their face, but they have no problem doing it in songs and behind their backs. THAT was her point. This video was about being able to not only talk the talk, but walk the walk. NOT about a "breast surgery confession". The entertainment industry is so focused on sexualizing women while simultaneously shaming them and so often use it as a distraction so their audiences don't notice that they're actually cowards that don't want their manhood threatened. Get out of the way while people like Jessi show you what it really means to be "hard" and a badass.

I think a lot of Koreans dislike the idea that someone might be feeling great and confident in their body or being happy with their look (it's unbelievable to them). You can definitely see the cultural differences here. On a Western talk show, this would maybe get a few laughs, but the hosts and other guests would be no where near as uncomfortable as this. Not saying it's a bad thing, it's just most definitely different.

Jessi is very Americanized, so for someone like me to listen to her talk, I see nothing wrong with it. Also, I've been an avid from of kdramas and kpop for a very long time, over a decade, and I am very much into the korean culture and I am fully aware that her carefree and honest nature doesnt really suit the culture, but MAD RESPECT for Jessi for being upfront about what she has done and being proud of it. I think if you're going to plastic surgery, it should be because you want it and you're going to be proud of showing it off. That really makes her a beautiful person because she's not ashamed, she doesn't hide it, and she's proud of it.

In a close minded society like Korea, Jessi is definitely a breath of fresh air.
This woman finally got what she deserve. She's now like the "Savage mother of Kpop" known for Nunu Nana. She finally shined throughout the hates she got from the knetz for her personality(straight forward, honest and savage).
She's so honest but so damn awkward, it's the best for these kinds of shows. But still... don't think anyone gave a shit (in the best way possible) about getting surgery done. It's pretty much standard for Korean celebrities especially.
But it's like there are 2 different sides of Korean society. One is the open minded people, who is more accepting to the things that are unusual for them, and the other is the "upright" club which is mostly netizens and older generations.
