That C8 was so fast, it out ran the GPS
I doubt thats possible since GPS is used to guide missiles that go several times the speed of sound. Also at 0:33 the cause of that "lag" is explained.
@@titaniummechanism3214 tbf that’s the only logical conclusion that we can come to the gps just failing if the trap speed at the end of the video is wrong but considering the fact that this was a 1/4 mile run it seems right so there had to be an issue with the gps
I hope we get more vids of the C8 so we can see that needle move! Cool vid glad to see a C8, wish the GPS was working to see the acceleration rate in real time!
Did it have P-zeros tires? Traction was an issue.

The C6Z06 has a higher half mile speed. C6 still in my opinion the best generation for corvette

144 ?in a half mile....tells me lots of cars around that segment ,inc perf four doors would keep up or pull away from corvette from freeway speed.
