By and large, I'm not a huge fan of American cars in general (with the exception of the Tesla) having been raised on a heritage of amazing European motors from the likes of BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti etc etc. But I have to admit, this has been done extremely well. I love the design, I love the aggressive width and stance, the interior design and space is really good and it's just interesting, whereas a lot of European EV's are boring as hell frankly. Take a look at the Audi EV's for example. Boring exterior design. Boring interior design muted with swathes of dark colours and dark plastics. It's about time that other manufacturers began to realise that our cars are no longer simply modes of transport - we want a bit of personality, individuality, a bit of wow factor. We want people to climb into our cars and go "WOW, look at this!" Not, "Oh look, more grey plastic and dark grey leather".
Well, I must say that I like the exterior design of both the Model S and Model Y. But Tesla's quality sucks!! And I hate the interior of Model 3 and Y. There is no instrument cluster directly in front of the driver. But, yes, Chevy hit a home run with this EV.
@@Rsmith420 Yes it does, Randy! I am not using no stories here. What I stated regarding Tesla's quality is 100% factual. I know lots of Tesla owners (personally) who complain about their car's quality. And right here on UA-cam, there are lots of video reviews about Tesla's bad quality. Also, Consumer Reports (CR) has had to remove just about every Tesla Model on its recommended list, at one time or another. Even one of my recent co-workers told me he worked in a car shop for about 3 years, installing audio systems. He said he worked on lots of Tesla cars, and had never seen such poor quality from any other vehicle brand. He said he stopped working at the shop just in April of this year.
@@TheTmat007 you claim that you’re not using no stories, but everything you’re saying is very much stories and hearsay. But I wont deal with that kind of nonsense. If I cant repair or have my mechanic repair then I wont buy.
First off I really like Tesla's and I have been considering one for the last two years. As good as they are, there is one thing that Tesla just doesn't have when compared the other car companies that have been in business of over 100 years - Tesla doesn't have a deep knowledge. Not to say that is bad thing but, rather to point out that the other car mfg's have both good and bad experiences to draw from. As much I loved the Tesla design, I feel like this EV and say even the Mach E are closer looking to "normal" cars and not quite as polarizing. I feel like GM's intent is in the right place with the new EV's they are making.
Sadly when I think of Blazer I remember the off-road machines of the past. I love the look of the Blazer EV just wish they called it something else. Did we need a Tahoe when we had a Blazer. The price of the Blazer EV will prevent many people from even considering. This EV looks awesome but cost to much.
In this down investment climate there is one bright opportunity; investment in cemeteries for "Tesla Killers". So far, labeling a car a Tesla killer is the kids of death.

It is nice! All that tech is very very nice! The biggest question is ??? Will it be reliable? Because in the past those Chevy Blazer were easily falling apart, engine would go out all the time. It was very unreliable, just awful! But EV? Hmmm, My gut tells me stay away from it. Sad to say.
C'mon man. Tesla? I think you're talking about Mustang Mach E killer Wait, if the Blazer EV will have its own version of the Supercharger Network, then we can talk about it being a Tesla Killer. Until then, still with the Ford Mustang Mach E.

@@TheTmat007 Teslas quality doesn’t suck. You’re using a few stories that you heard in 2019 and applying that to the current quality.
@@Rsmith420
Yes it does, Randy!
Also, consumer reports is paid by the oil companies, who have an incentive to make you believe the things you’re stating as factual. The quality has increased immensely since the stories that you’re referring to, so go off what you can prove about todays quality.
@@Rsmith420 dam near every youtube video on Tesla is about how many times they have to take it to the shop or have the tesla repair come to them,. Now Tesla started using a nearly impertable adhise to keep Mechanics from removing battery cells from the battery so they cant do inexpensive cell swaps. and I am a Big Musk Fan !
Genesis GV80 has this “presence” feature too
Sadly when I think of Blazer I remember the off-road machines of the past.
Any total vehicle weight or drag strip numbers being thrown around? It does look fantastic!
Built on the same lyriq platform hence the 6 lug wheels. Likely it'll weigh 5200-5600# like the lyriq maybe a shade lighter.
Ss is supposedly sub 4s 0-60mph other trims in single motor around 290hp fwd or rwd will be very slow. Likely high 6s or low 7s 0-60mph like the lyriq is.
Looks perfect. I'd just delete that rear Chevy badge.
I’m so curious if they have spare tires on back
I hope they offer a leather or faux leather option. Not a big fan of microfiber.
Looks nice, but 2024?
It is nice! All that tech is very very nice! The biggest question is ??? Will it be reliable? Because in the past those Chevy Blazer were easily falling apart, engine would go out all the time. It was very unreliable, just awful! But EV? Hmmm, My gut tells me stay away from it. Sad to say.
Makes me wonder 🤔 too
But dose it have the ultra cruise(city and highway driving) if it don't it's not a tesla killer
have a look at rivian its one thing making it its another making it at volume and at profit
2024? Is there a 2023? Why are they talking about this so early when I presume it won't be available for another year or so?
Is Chevy only making EVs? Are they going to make any hybrids? I need a Colorado hybrid if they were smart
C'mon man. Tesla?
I think you're talking about Mustang Mach E killer
Wait, if the Blazer EV will have its own version of the Supercharger Network, then we can talk about it being a Tesla Killer.
Until then, still with the Ford Mustang Mach E.
Did it drive out of the garage? Looks pretty cool not 65 k cool!
Does it has 9 cameras like all Tesla?
This might be my 1st EV. It’s absolutely STUNNING 🤩
It's absolutely ugly. But that matches you.
@@whynotstartusingyourbrain8726 this car is in now way ugly. This looks better than every car in Tesla line up except the model S
The front gives me urus vibes
Seems almost too good to be true. Only complaint is the interior red. Not easy on the eyes.
The hummer weighs a lot more with the same battery lol
11:52 Wow, I wish my 2020 Palisade Limited had this feature... Oh wait...
No it's not. Lol.
I remember when every phone from LG was supposed to be an iPhone killer. Reminds me of this.
3:10 misalignes buttons, no self driving capabilities, the most inovative thing was to put the console tilted to the driver 6:47 how is this a Tesla Killer?
Designer sounded like a advertisement so dry lol
Wonder what size those new wheels were looked WIDE as hell almost like an X5M, did you get any specs on them?
I’m sales rep for Chevrolet. They’ll be different Wheel and tire sizes of course but I believe these are either 21” or 22”’s.
I wanted to see the frunk! Is there any reverse charging like the Silverado or lightning?
Was that a big trunk? Small truck? Lighting was terrible.
Needs headrests for the center passenger and to make sure all headrests are supportive and comfortable.
BLAZER bev is a CHEAPLY made vehicle w/ a GAS car body.
Thousands of UA-camrs slap the clickbait on their videos "Tesla Killer" well notice they never say the Rivian Killer, or the VW killer, etc, etc. It's laughable!! But it shows who the BOSS of EVs really is. And Tesla truly is 50K miles ahead of the pack!! PS, there's no way you're going to touch that Blazer EV at the dealer for 65K--they will laugh at you.
Now they just have to produce millions of these!
Gonna take a long time, at 25 units per quarter 😁
@@abhialt lmao
Wow crazyy menn , very handsome model
Awesome!
Now you can go to grocery store in style.
Is this the real production or pre-production???
Release this in the U.K
This new Chevy Blazer EV is a GM Killer. 😉 😉
NOPE, and made in MEXICO. no, thanks.
If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You most look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

Beautiful car inside and out. Well done, Chevy.
Hit me up I have investment update ? ?
@Aye would you want to be the beta tester, at your own expense, for a brand new design from gm? Not me. But it does look good.
I normally don't like Chevys but, they did a really good job designing the interior and exterior of this trim, would definitely get this if I had the money.
