Bo should have gotten an Emmy for this as the Best Supporting Actor. ! The way Bo held onto Hope was phenomenal ! As it sunk in Bo wasn't letting her go.
I never saw Zach's death but watching this video was more then enough for me. I couldn't handle watching his death and funeral. That being said, this video is an excellent explaination. GREAT JOB!! 5 stars
She ran over him in pitch black darkness and thought it was a pot hole until she found him and it truly crushed her she had told Bo Brady she was the one that done it and he was stuck with his son dying and her being responsible for it until hope lost it and Bo told Hope that she had done it and it was really Devastating to watch how that had played out

Yes, like evenstar01 says, i live in Norway. Zack has now recently been hit by the car. I saw it yesterday. Poor Hope!! I will starty crying when they'll show his death, probably after 10 more episodes. I used to NEVER watch soaps, but i started to follow this last year, and i couldn't stop! It's so entertaining, and i love the characters. There must be many many years since our TV bought this TV-soap. And i know, we're 4 years behind actually, so i go here and find out more, lol.
Transplant stories have been been done so many times in soap operas but this one is one of the ones that stands out and seems to have some real thought and heart put into it. The actors all pour their hearts and souls into this and the story is more realistic, so it strikes a chord.

Oh my god :( I cried when these episodes aired because the acting was so dramatic (Bo & Hope), that you thought they really lost their child. It hits me more so now that I have a son (he's almost 2) and I couldn't imagine my life without him. BEAUTIFUL montage, I swear I just cried through it all :(

"I can't say goodbye" Just imagine yourself in that position. that's what hurts the most! And the end, oh God!...
this is one of the few Days storylines that just ripped out my heart & made me cry for months, and yet i still had to tune in every single day; Kristian & Peter did an amazing job with this incredibly tough material.

this montage is from a story line 3 years ago. when they brought everyone back it had to do with a screw up by the head writer at the time. everything i read had to do with the fans not liking the turn the show was taken at the time. they then brought in a new head writer and had to find a way to bring them all back.
Kristian Alfonso is the best actress on DOOL. she's gorgeous, talented and so convincing at pulling at your heart strings when she loses her child zack, i mean she really did a great job, she should have won an award, big time

The writers just felt that they needed something gut-wrenching like this b/c it's rarely ever done in soaps. Plus, it was the only way to save Belle and Phillips (we'd later learn it was Shawn's) baby. Horribly sad! I lost my own baby a year before they did this storyline and I couldn't sit through it w/out weeping...

the saddest moment on the soap IMHO, I know Chelsea didn't mean to kill him and it was an accident and I'm glad hope forgave her because she felt so guilty for it but it still hurts, I don't remember how old Zack was but he was too young and I HATE when any show, primetime or daytime, kills kids and I feel hopes pain and Bo and Shawn but as a mother myself now I can't imagine losing my daughter or if I'd survive it.
Of all the scenes I ever watched on my favorite soap, this scenes is burned in memory. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was crying right along with Hope and almost as hard! Why she never receive a daytime Emmy for that scene is beyond comprehension. Days at its finest! Can’t believe it was 17 years ago.

I gotta be honest when I first saw this scene on NBC I didn't cry but I wanted 2 cause it was sad as hell. the worst thing that can happen to a woman is to lose a child as young as zack. seeing this again tears started rolling. I really miss the lil guy, I could eally see what he could of become if he grew up, at least a part of him lives on thru claire and I miss that lil girl to death.

Well done! This storyline was sooooo hard to watch! I hated what they did to Bo & Hope during this storyline bringing in Billie and Patrick that I stopped watching for awhile! Peter and Kristian deserved at least emmmy nominations for their performances! But unfortunately NBC does not have enough support!
I don’t know why I clicked on this as it was sad enough the first time I watched it all those years ago. Everyone did such an amazing job, but man Kristian Alfonso could deliver. I also remember the scene where she had to give that other baby back to his birth mother. Was his name JT? I think Stefano had switched Zack and this baby so that Lexie could have Zack and Hope thought JT was her baby only to discover he wasn’t. The whole Horton clan gathered at her house to say goodbye when she had to give the baby back, and they played the song “Say goodnight not goodbye.” It was heart wrenching too. Would love to see it again.

Bo & Hope had to make a decision to keep him on life support for their own sake, so they could say goodbye on their own terms... or they could do it right away and save someone else, which happend to be Claire. The docs didn't tell them it was Claire who needed the transplant since that would be to brake the doctor-patient confidentialityagreement.
