The beautiful sounds of rap music blasting to warn everyone that you're currently driving into the most sunken and the most violent section of the city.
Lol, no one wants to go there. I remember a Wine delivery company I worked for always sent a black helper on Paterson routes so the driver wouldnt really get robbed and I was one of them..
Ex boyfriend is from Paterson New Jersey. I always went out to visit to NJ all the time in 1994 .. the last time I was in Pattison was the year 2000 ..it was tough back then, but now .. as I see it on this video, looks like it got worse.. garbage everywhere a lot of abandonment houses, the mayor should really clean the urban communities up..
This is my City born and raised but I was fortunate enough to relocate to Hilton Head island South Carolina and I’m not looking back but Paterson taught me a lot and there’s no place like home this video made me understand why I moved but bought back memories good and bad!
It’s an environment filled with hurt and pain . It’s very lonely here for people like me. Think about it, Would you rather suffer with hurt people or genuinely heal and grow alone with God? I believe that’s what keeps people stuck here. Focusing on the wrong things and never healing . I pray to God that lives get changed . We all need a breakthrough. In Jesus Name , Amen. God bless everyone ❤
Broadway Pizza is really one of the dopest pizza spots with giant slices. Theres a Jamaican spot called Mammas Kitchen that serves really bomb ass porridge nearby. Also yall already know the little spanish spots with the 5 dollar plates
Detroit is a dead ghost town compared to this. This is actually active and full of life. They look nothing alike. This is higher population density with apartments and townhouses. Detroit is a bunch of big old houses spread out.
As always, lots of people who don't need to worry about getting up early for work the next morning, and, as always, a lot of police activity. From time to time, could you show us the better parts of these towns and cities, if such things exist, please? Thanks!
2:04 There's always a liquor store in a black neighborhood. They make sure liquor is accesible. Once upon a time, there was talk about closing these liquor stores in the hood. Now, nothing like that.
I missed Paterson NJ back in the 80 s I know the whole Paterson i grew up on van Houten street and straight street I missed down town stores i missed wendys checkers i know broadway etc i went to eastside highschool in the 80 so much fun principal' joe clark
I would rather be in Juarez, Mexico, or even Tijuana . Very quiet, no large groups of menacing looking people hanging out, and no litter and graffiti. It may be dangerous but at least they keep up a nice facade. 😂

Paterson is one of the few NJ cities in recent years that has trended in a worse direction.
