Dude loved every single one of your prints this video. Puts my Ender 3 to shame. Could you please post your settings? What slicer are you using because Cura is not working properly with mine. My prints constantly have issues with snapping or breaking midway throughout the print or not coming out smooth! How do you do it Mad-Lad! :D

That was probably my favorite yet. The first vase/thingy man that would look wicked in black chrome. Loved the filament at 4:00 in, silky smooth and DAMN that Christmas tree is mind blowing. . . Doubly so in reverse! 😜 Thanks again for all your hard work! Happy holidays!!

I have just started getting into 3d printing and have been looking at different channels and have found a few interesting ones.
One of my favorite channels and one i recommend to anyone getting into time lapses is a small channel called "Black cat 3d" they are a very new channel and have just started making time lapses of all the different things they make. The channel is super nice when responding to commens and i feel they should have more subscribers and support.

Your videos had a big impact on getting me into 3d printing! These time lapses are incredible! I got the Octopi\Octolapse setup and working but have not yet setup a DSLR to use with it. Do you use an external power source for your camera? Does the battery last through the entire print or do you have to change it and monitor the camera's battery to know when?

    Hi
I have some big problems getting my Ender 5 to make a decent result when doing Time laps.
The problem is that I'm strings from the printed sitem to the photo position.
If the printed item is large, it works almost perfectly
but if the item is a small diameter then it is completely wrong
You have made some really nice time lapse on an Ender 3 I would joke if you are willing to share your restriction setup
hope you understand my english as it is written using google translator

How do you edit out the printer nozzle? I understand it's a timelapse. But do you have it go off screen after each layer and then you have your timelapse set to record one frame? Or is it digitally removed by comparing frames from before and after? I'm curious to the process.

When the extruder finishes a layer it goes at the back right and then a picture is taken.

Octolapse. Everytime it finishes a layer, the extruder retracts and octolapse takes a picture, then it joins all the photos taken to create this kind of timelapse.

most of the machines i get use default printing profiles, if your machine doesn't have one you can always start with a similar printers profile and work from there!
