Thanks! I suppose i can use it for connecting 2 guitars to 1 amplifier with volume control for each individual output (guitar 1 in return A, guitar 2 in return B, output to amp?). Is there any noise? Greetz Frans
Thanks for the video! Does the Portal allow for trails? Like, if I have an echo pedal attached to one of the returns, when I switch it will there be a hard stop? Or will the return stay open and allow the remaining echoes to pass through?
@@Eztica11 to my knowledge it doesn't allow trails. The EHX tri-parallel mixer does, but that sells for around $150 which is quite a bit of a price difference.
Does this somewhat resembles DSM Humboldt Simplifier to a certain extent? Or an entirely different aby pedal? Coz im olanning to use this to go stereo with my two amps.
@@6stringedpsycho718 the Humboldt Simplifier offers a lot of cab simulation features that this does not, but this let's you activate either a or b with separate foot switches and active volume control for each which can be very useful.
Fabbo demo...great to see!!!! Also you're using a longhorn Danelectro, I have the Dano bass version...love those guitars and again this demo...subscribing now
The cables work perfectly fine for my demos! I haven't had any noise issues and switch them out weekly to plug in other pedals. Not sure if I would trust them on a touring pedalboard but I've never had any noise issues so far!
I was looking at the sonicake website for something else and that logo caught my eye first. For a moment I thought there was a new Portal game and the pedal was a collaboration with Valve? idk but I'd buy a vocal processor with a GlaDOS effect in a heartbeat. Parallel signal mixers are cool two. I have a basic 2 channel line selector with a parallel mode and 3 channel parallel mixer, similar to this one but it has a few more control parameters for each channel. Anyone who is considering one of these, especially if you like to experiment and create new sounds, do it. I can't think of another 3 channel parallel blender pedal for that price and these things have limitless possibilities.
@@onlyusernameleft2 for $50 this is a great addition to my demo set up! I have an EHX tri-parallel mixer that has more bells and whistles I used on a huge stereo board, but it's a little less straightforward, plug and play than this one and was more than double the cost. It's cool to see Sonicake doing stuff outside of the box!
@@andyshaw8047 yes, it can. Just make sure the switch is set to parallel. Having volume control over the channels is a big help for this type of setup!
The power port in the pedal is a daisy chain, not isolated. ...But still saves you one cable in your daisy chain.
I’ve been interested in a stereo splitter, this is definately on my list now of utility to consider. Loved 05:14

@@fhvdlinde1 I believe this would work but I haven't had the chance to test it, theoretically you could run up to 3 inputs at once with this unit!

Hi, is it stereo In/out and Send/return? Thanks
@@DennyNarciso this unit is not stereo unfortunately.

Hello, have you tried A/B channel phase inversion button? what does he do?
maybe in series from A-B becomes B-A? Thank you

@@arichards5 thanks, friend! This one is a baritone! I love the clarity of the pickups and the separate tone/volume for each.
Great!!!!!!!!!!!By the way, what are the results of those patch cables? Are they noisy? Thank you very much.

@@nerdebynature yeah, tri parallel mixer is one of the two I have. I started with a joyo orthos line selector and got hooked.
Can this be used as an aby switcher for a wet/dry set up?
