  • On 16 October, as we celebrate the World Food Day, we also honor the people behind our campaign against malnutrition.
In South Sudan, close to 200 mothers work with World Vision to promote health and nutrition by teaching fellow mothers how to cook properly and feed their children of nutritious food. The mother-to-mother support groups identify malnutrition cases, provide awareness on maternal, infant and young child nutrition. They are also trained on kitchen gardening so they can raise vegetables for their families. More in these stories: in Juba bit.ly/2CCtUX3 and in Melut bit.ly/2PuUAvy
