Thanks for your time and effort and sharing your process. I have watched the other two and I liked them very much. I love to paint in layers. My challenge at times are edges, specially those merging with the background. I would love to see more of your work, but there are no more videos lately. I wish you the best and more for 2023. Please keep painting. Your work is awesome!
I love the music you chose to do your demonstrations here on youtube. Very helpful in showing your techniques in oil painting and showing this work done in 3 phases. Thanks.
Love watching your old masters style of underpainting and glazing. Thanks for providing this. I've been staring at my first blank canvas for a week. Very very nice video. I am always fascinated with Glazing technique, though naver dared to try it coz I don't know the basics of this technique. Can you please tell me if there is any particular orde of colour scheme to put one colour first and then follow it with another different colour to obtain the desired effect in glazing?
Thank you for these videos. They're very helpful. Question: I realize you "added" the leaves because they weren't there on the original setup, but wouldn't there be some type of shadows (maybe very faint) on the wall behind the oranges and on the left orange, especially on the middle one? Also, the wall behind the middle orange seems to be lighter than on the left or the right. Is that because the spotlight is shining on the wall right there?
I like these videos and the music. Although, the flipping is distracting. You should give credit to the music you are using, it's the proper thing to do. Even if it's produced as your own, we'd like to know.

Hi, great series of videos, how are you achieving the highlights on the orange? are you removing paint if so how? or are you adding a lighter tone?

I have to agree. I can't hit the mute button fast enough. There is no music in my other videos.
Thank you very much!
Can I use this method with acrylic paint?
This medium works with oil. I've never tried acrylic but I don't think you would get the same results.
Perfect, I understood. Painting with acrylic I just used the method "alla prima" never tried to paint in layers ...
thank you very much
You might be able to experiment with Acrylic using a slow-dry medium.
thank you for your time and sharing!
Thank you!

Thanks Cathy. Credit is given at the end.
Thank you, I'm sorry, I usually see it in the informational paragraph before the comments.
Please cut the music, talk while you paint in different stages.
