A blank dark blue patch with the metal insignia in the middle would be used for cadets between Cadet Airman (C/Amn) to Cadet Chief Master Sergeant (C/CMSgt)z
@@Redberryweo Okay thank you very much! It's required for my upcoming encampment so I needed it. Does it come with the Velcro or did you get the velcro custom added, because I ordered mine with the tapes meant for fleece (hook closure) ones, idk if those are velcro or not.
For ease of cleaning and sharing the ABU fleece if a member outgrows their current fleece, I recommend the velcro tapes. The velcro tapes can be used again on the next size being worn. Another consideration would be that it might be difficult to sew tapes on top of the fleece’s existing velcro.
Kinda late here but anyways. I have an ABU Parka but the Grade Tab is not in the middle, is more to the left side of the chest. I’ve seen that all the parkas online have that. Can I use my cadet grade insignia on the tab or it’s the wrong kind of parka?
The tab is supposed to be located on the button strap at the front of the parka according to CAPR 39-1. Most times, cadets do not even have a parka or do not have the insignia/slide to put on. Some activities do not require that the outer garment be 100% in regs, as long as the member is staying warm and safe. I'd say it's up to you on what you'd like to do, but the tab not being in the middle is not something described in the uniform regulation.
Hello! Thank you for the video. I have a question regarding the insignia for NCOs and Airmen on the fleece. Do you have to buy another pair of chevrons so that you have the 2 on your ABU and then the one on your fleece, or can you remove the insignia from your ABU and place it on the fleece while wearing it?
It is recommended to have three for ease of taking the fleece jacket off without scrambling to quickly take it off the fleece and put it on your collar. My suggestion is to see if your squadron has an extra for you to use. You would also need the blank dark blue velcro piece with CAP written on it.
The US Air Force, US Space Force, and US Army are all wearing OCP. From what I understand, Multicam is a variant of OCP. Multicam is the name of a specific pattern that is available commercially
This channel got me into CAP. Thank you for that, I love the program.
Great job explaining this your videos are the best learning tool
Happy to help! :)
What would a Senior Airman wear for their rank part of the FLEECE JACKET - FOLIAGE GREEN

I am a Cadet NCO and I have the gortex jacket. What should I wear for insignia on my gortex jacket?
The blank one with the metal insignia of your current achievement!
I'm a prior cadet and veteran. Now I just re-up in cap for my son
Welcome back!
does the fleece nametapes have to be Velcro?

@@Redberryweo thank you
How or where do you get the tapes that have Velcro on them for the fleece?
Oh I’m a moron, I just found them on vanguard…
They are indeed on Vanguard's website! Glad you found them!
El you have to buy your uniforms or do they give them to you
Some units may have extra uniform items. When applying as a cadet, a uniform voucher is given on an as-needed basis
I’ve got the gortex blouse but I didn’t even know it had a pair of pants to go with it lol
Nice! Normally, they come in sets unless you specifically purchase the stand-alone blouse or pants.

I was lucky and found some gortex stuff on Ebay for about $30

@@Redberryweo got it, I'll be sure to ask. Thanks!
Can you just straight out put your NCO or Airman insignia's on that little spot above your name tag on the fleece?
Got a question I’m about to get my fleece and I’m a A1C do they have a insignia for that???
You would get a dark blue blank velcro path and place the metal insignia of your current grade (C/A1C) on it!
Hi. Love you CAP videos. Could you do some more on Corporate uniforms stuff.
Thank you! Which uniforms would you like to learn more about? The blue BDU or blazer?
Is the MCU pattern the same pattern as the OCP pattern?
