Hey bonnie! The pure vanilla which turned brown with crystals is completely fine! It is oxidized, basically meaning air is within it or something, you could see it as a sort of rust. It's still fine! If you're not sure just smell if it smells the same or taste it a bit. But it should be just fine. However, pure vanilla can't really go bad ;) Hope it helped!

Okay so your video gave me motivation to clean my pantry! It's been needing done for a while 🙈 I kept putting it off because we really can't afford containers to organize it right now, so I got creative and used boxes we had and cut the tops off! Worked great and now I can actually find stuff in my pantry!
