I just had this pop up on my home page for some reason lol. Reminded me when I did engine swap on my Yugo, it became so different and better to drive, took me a couple of weeks to get used to having considerably more power.
So all my research I’ve done and you seem to be the only other person that did a DE to RevUp swap I got everything in but just to be sure you used Rev Up ecu and the chip from key instead of the whole ignition right ??? I don’t think I seen anything about what BCM your using any info will be much appreciated
Yes I used the Rev Up ECU and RFIF chip instead of the whole ignition. Sorry for the late reply. I know I had issues regarding the BCM but I can’t entirely remember what they were. I’m gonna skim my videos and see if I can remember.
I did swap my BCM, I used the one from the manual car, I do believe you can get your ECU reprogrammed to work with your old BCM though. in my case it was easier to use the one that went along with the ECU.
Yo so did you ever end up finding what was happening and what all did you have to do for the e brake. I’m starting to manual swap my g I’m gathering all the parts for it right now I’m get a master and a slave tm. I’m really excited to do this but also hella nervous
I have another video on installing the E-brake. And the car was in limp mode because I forgot to plug in the MAF. Good luck! Take your time and do your research and it’ll be easy.
you can TRY to find one on a part out on facebook marketplace, but most of those go quick. You can also check ebay, or find someone that sells VQ parts on facebook marketplace and look around through those to try to find one.
I bled the clutch a lot.. then it still didnt come back up all the way, after driving a little bit it started to come back out fully. im still not entirely sure what that issue was.
I was going to vhr swap my g but my g is auto i pulled the engine and gave it to my friend which i regret but now im going back de and manual swap instead hopefully it's not too bad to do

How did you fab the clutch pedal ? Also I was wondering if you can make a more detail video about how you started the car after putting the new engine in instead of getting a new key what did you do to bypass it ? Not much online that has detail on properly making the swap. Would love to use your videos as a reference for my manual swap
Which part for the clutch pedal? I have videos covering most the stuff and pointing out what i did to solve it. I swapped the BCM ECU and RFID Chip to use the existing key in the car.
@@zanecr6227 thanks for the reply back 🙏🏻 just gained a follower but the clutch only has 1 bolt that I can secure it with . Just wanted to see what you did as a bracket to secure it in place better for the top mount bolt . Just needed a reference to go off of . Not sure where I can mount it so it doesn’t move around

I took a piece of steel and bent it to go around the stud that came off the old foot E-brake and then put a nut and bolt through the top of the clutch pedal. I used a piece of alunmin coil to make my template then made it out of steel.

Forgot to ask did you have to use the manual gauge cluster?
No you don’t have to use it, but I had it so I did. I believe you just have a check engine light but can get it reprogrammed to be removed

I ended up replacing the master and slave cylinder, then I was able to bleed everything properly.
