This is beautiful truth. At 18, I have already experienced much suffering in my life. At the age of 12 my health began to decline and I have been left with constant pain since then. In the first few years the pain began, I questioned God, and I always asked, "Why God? Why me? Why so much suffering now, when I've barely lived my life?" Perhaps I should've asked, "Why NOT me?" Christ paid the highest possible price so that I, we, may live. He bore the crown of thorns, the excruciating cross, the very wrath of God. The least I can do is bear the pricking of my few. I no longer cry out, "Why God", but rather, "Use me. Please, use me. Do not let my pain be wasted." After many years of suffering, I am sure of this. The Lord remains steadfast and good, in all things, always. He cannot sin, so He cannot sin against me (or you), and this makes Him the most trustworthy. He WILL one day SOON come and remove the thorns from our flesh. And when that day comes, we will no longer struggle, no longer question. What a glorious day that will be. Until then, He holds us fast. We are quite safe within the palm of His hand. He will keep us away from the edge. This God of Peace will soon crush Satan under our feet. Steady onwards, until that glorious day.
Thank you pastor, for your comments. I am struggling with my health after being injured at my work as a Police Officer. I am in constant pain and have had 5 operations, however during this period I have grown closer to my lord Jesus Christ. He has saved me and continues to help me both through scripture and my feeling of his presence. At times I have never felt so calm knowing that he is helping get me through this. God bless you for your podcasts.
Sometimes we can’t help but wonder why things happen, that is why we are human and God is God. We are but a speck of dust and we’re not created to know it all, God had it all figured out so all we can and should do is trust Him.
We are not as important and grand as we tend to think. We are dust and not in control. God is immortal, sovereign and in control. Just enjoy the good food you cooked.. just enjoy the few good relationships that add value to your life. just enjoy the sea breeze and sunshine and the rain. just enjoy God's blessings while you're suffering. Even if you get your deliverance, something else will grieve you; something else will go wrong. something else will cause pain. Just enjoy other things in your life while you suffer.... and that's better than asking questions you have no answers to.
Things are gong to get much worse before HE comes. HE told us it's going to be so bad, such as the world has never seen before. CHURCH, we must repent. We must read our bibles, and plead with him for the strength to make it through these times. I suffer from severe chronic pain, and its brought me closer to the Lord than I've ever been. Blessings to you all.
Yes. Things are heading in that direction. "And because _lawlessness_ shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that endureth to the end shall be saved." Your comment is spot on. Thank you for taking the time to write it. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and your ears fixed on his words. It sounds like you do. Blessings to you.
Come soon Lord! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! New channel here, I’d appreciate any kind of support. Don’t give up! God loves you so much! So do I. The Lord bless you!
If God is for you, who can be against you? The world hates us because it hated our King and Lord first. Church, we are in this world, but we are not of this world. We are going to be hated by those that are closest to us; if those that know us the best hates, how much more do you think this world hates us -- this is Satan's domain. Scripture tells us that the world is ruled by Satan and that if we love this world and the things of this world, the love of the Father is not in us. We need to repent and look to Christ, because HE is all that matters-- nothing else! I love you, CHURCH! Hold fast to your faith... even through death, because the believer never dies, we have passed from death to life, through Christ, and Christ alone. Hallelujah!
I pray we realize that suffering does not invalidate the existence of God! There is no concrete absolute itemized detailed explanation for what takes place on earth. It’s generalized truth. Big picture truth. Things on earth are far more corrupted than they appear. The book of Job explains a few key things. One being activity in the spirit realm that we have no clue is talking place. Understand that if God were to agree to a town hall meeting that allowed us to ask our top ten questions, whatever He answered would leave us with only one response… “ Oh, uhh thank you your majesty.” Most of us will tear up our list and never get to question #2. He knows what he’s doing! We still have to trust Him.
I watched the movie "Miracles from Heaven" today with my boyfriend. He wants to be a believer, but he is struggling still. He asked me if Jesus really said, ask anything in his name with faith, and we will have it, then why is not suffering taken away from believers when they ask for it? I answered in many ways, but he was stubborn and did not accept any answer because he did not understand. In my thoughts I asked God to guide me, because I have faith strong enough to never question his plan and trust him, but I am bad at explaining some things to others, it seems. And a when I opened youtube this popped up in my recommended. I thank God because he cares enough to provide answers to those who seek them, because he wants us to trust him and understand this world. He wants us to know him and come to him. Praise God for his love and goodness forever
@@jordanpryor4771 Hi! I am sorry, I think I kinda used the wrong words. He knows and declares that the Bible is true and therefore he wants to follow Jesus, so he has this kind of faith. But he is like the man in the New Testament who said: "I believe, help my unbelief". I hope I worded it better like this, I apologise since English is not my mother language
I was talking with my wife about this last night. In the context of everything going on at present in the world. An eternal outlook, is helpful. The Apostle Paul says, "The sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory to be revealed." That our future hope is so good, so as to render the present evil age by comparison as a minor affliction. The days of deep suffering, may be horrific and baffling yet they will be rendered utterly mild, when we are one with Christ, when we see Him in His glory Face to Face, when our perspective is infinitely broader than just in the context of this present evil age through our failing eyes. THEN it will be as nothing. And Godly suffering ITSELF, will yield this hope in the present evil age. Again as the apostle says "Suffering produces endurance, and endurance Character, and Character Hope. And Hope does not put us to shame because God's love has been poured into our Hearts through the holy Spirit who has been given to us." So our answer is Christ, our assurance and our hope. It's all we've ever had, it's all we ever will have. 13:48 Christ has entered into our suffering. The suffering we have caused ultimately.
How about ready knowing the scripture in full complete context? many wonder who on earth ever did. Honestly but many will say they read scripture asfar as you get.
"The Lord is near to the broken-hearted, and He saves those of crushed spirit. Many evils befall the righteous, but the Lord saves him from them all." Psalms 34:19-20
About sorrow, misery and mercy Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You will be with me. The shadows cannot hurt us, although they seem huge, they seem to be bigger than the origin of their provenance. When there is a shadow, it is always because there is light... Sorrows are gifts, they deepen and mature love, because suffering, sensitizes. Growing up is not automatic, maturity is the product, the sorrow, the process. Sorrows are opportunities to grow. They teach us patience that produce character, and character, produces confidence and hope. They transform us, and never leave us in the same place where they found us. They hold people together, they create bonds. It's not perfection that unites us, it's sorrow. There is no surplus in sorrows, with the wounds you improve, with the adversities you advance, and with the losses, you win. Without purpose, the penalties would be devastating. The result of living in this broken world is sorrow. The result of purposeless sorrow is bitterness. The sorrows in life are not optional, nor are they inevitable. However, "Misery does not coincide with poverty; misery is the poverty of the heart without trust, without solidarity, without hope." From Latin misere (misery, necessity), miser- comes from Latin, where it has the meaning "wretched''. This meaning is found in such words as: commiserate, miser, miserable, miserly, misery. Mercy is the willingness to sympathize with the sufferings and miseries of others... To have a solidary heart, with whom it is necessary. From Latin Miseri- cordis. In french; compassion, pitié, dér. de misericors qui a le coeur (cors) sensible à la. In English; compassion, pity”, der. of misericors "who has the heart (cors) sensitive to the. The term mercy in Hebrew in the old testament it is "rehamîm" which means "entrails" in a figurative sense expresses an intimate feeling, deep and loving, which binds two people. Matthew 11:28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke. Let me teach you, for I am humble and tender of heart, and you will find rest for your soul. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” The Yoke is an artifact. of wood to which, forming a harness, the mules or oxen are tied, and to which the lance or stick of the cart, the rudder of the plow, is attached. The word yoke is used to define any pair of animals that work together by means of a harness, this term comes from the Latin jungere ‘to join’, which means "together". This word is often taken as a synonym for friend, accomplice, partner. Colloquially there is a phrase that says "walking in yoke" which refers to two individuals who always spend time together everywhere. To yoke is not only tying two oxen, and although it seems simple, it is not, since it requires advance work that requires patience, rules, procedures, and order. So...it's not that God wants to keep us tied up like oxen... It is, that in the yoke with God, we walk together as accomplices, as friends, as partners. He and I, walking in the same direction, and at the same speed. In His mercy, and in my sorrows, an intimate feeling binds us, deeply and lovingly. One day, we will go to sleep and our Father will lift us up in his loving arms and take us, as His children, to where we belong, eternity; Living in complete light, with Abba Father.
"Where there are shadows, it is because there is light" This statement of yours brought to mind this from Psalm 18 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.
Dear Pastor John, I really needed to hear this today! I have been deeply grieving what is happening in the world right now...Thank you very much for bringing such a truthful biblical insight to our reality! God bless you and keep you always.
1st John chapter 5 verse 19 says this= We know we originate with God But the whole world 🌎🌍 Is lying in the power of the wicked one... So we know why people are Suffering
The reason that the world is full of suffering is that with God's sovereign prerogative he ordained that everything that happens serve to glorify him or put his nature and character on display. God is everlasting, self-sufficient, spirit/transcendent, omnipresent/immanent, omniscient, omnipotent, triune, sovereign/purposeful, righteous/just, relational, loving, passible/sentimental, gracious/benevolent, merciful/forgiving, saving, earnest/ jealous, faithful/immutable, etc. Everything that occurs on earth serves to bring our attention to these truths about God and invoke our worship, and without suffering we would not have a mature understanding of these things nor a maximum appreciation for them because there can be no mercy or salvation without sin, and sin is the cause of suffering and provides God the occasion to put on display the full scope of himself in judging sinners and in rescuing his people from their sin and his wrath and then creating a new world where his people worship him for who he has revealed himself to be and all that he did for them while they were altogether unworthy and could have been denied his gift of salvation and instead condemned forever for their sin. So for the maximization of our love and appreciation for God he planned out and allows sin which is the cause of suffering, and just as with authors who include suffering in their stories and deals with it in the conclusion (sufficientlyif they are a good author), God, the supreme author, included suffering in his story to come about as a result of our sin as the means to the best possible end which is that his glory be shown and enjoyed by those he loves in the Lord Jesus for all eternity. As far as the man's statement that with all the suffering in the world it is impossible to believe in the sovereignty of God or the goodness of God, he is right in the sense that faith in God is a gift from him given with salvation along with repentance following the new birth of the Holy Spirit. No one can love God nor will bow in submission to God until he gives them spiritual life and removes the hardness of their heart because until then the devil holds them captive and blinds their eyes so that they cannot see or appreciate the supremacy of God. This is not merely a logic issue or an emotional issue, but a spiritual one because our logic and emotions are subject to our spirit master who rules in our heart, which is why we all are dependent upon the Lord Jesus to rescue us from slavery to sin and the wrath of God. Then only can we see and appreciate God for who he really is and anticipate the day of his second coming when for his people, suffering will be no more because they will be fully conformed to his image and their sin will be gone forever.
So God put his people HUMANS in Sin of suffering just to rescue them i see. God built humans so that he could rescue them and all the other reasons of his excuse of obomination and a very Jealous spirit Combined.
@@trafficjon400 Once, you Gentiles were rebels against God, but when the people of Israel rebelled against him, God was merciful to you instead. Now they are the rebels, and God’s mercy has come to you so that they, too, will share in God’s mercy. For God has imprisoned everyone in disobedience so he could have mercy on everyone. - Romans 11:30-32 NLT Are we saying, then, that God was unfair? Of course not! For God said to Moses, “I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.” So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it. For the Scriptures say that God told Pharaoh, “I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying my power in you and to spread my fame throughout the earth.” So you see, God chooses to show mercy to some, and he chooses to harden the hearts of others so they refuse to listen. Well then, you might say, “Why does God blame people for not responding? Haven’t they simply done what he makes them do?” No, don’t say that. Who are you, a mere human being, to argue with God? Should the thing that was created say to the one who created it, “Why have you made me like this?” When a potter makes jars out of clay, doesn’t he have a right to use the same lump of clay to make one jar for decoration and another to throw garbage into? In the same way, even though God has the right to show his anger and his power, he is very patient with those on whom his anger falls, who are destined for destruction. He does this to make the riches of his glory shine even brighter on those to whom he shows mercy, who were prepared in advance for glory. - Romans 9:14-23 NLT
God punishes sin in an infinite number of ways resulting in all kinds of human suffering. Our smartphones/social media only heighten the sense that's it's worse now than ever.
thank you for not leaving us in suffering Lord for being the comfort we need, thank you for suffering that points us to you and how much we need you, and thank you for the relief that your salvation brings even if suffering is not taken away because there is meaning in such suffering it isn't for nothing let it always be for your glory
We're all in this painful journey together no matter how isolated or secluded or alone we are. Even God suffered the tortures of this world and life in Jesus. It's not all bad though, not all of the time. The rotten things we do to each other that cause us suffering will hopefully build something good in those of us with a heart for God and His things and ways. Everything is screwed up in a fallen world.
Jesus knew where he was going AFTER 3 DAYS AND 1 HOUR ON THE CROSS. we don't though do we but a belief that has to go 1000s and more on longer till who will ever know sounds torture than than some tortures many live. Don't try and challange that for one might burn in hell for ever trying to find that out. The condemed obominable Secrete that Man will not and slaved to death to try and figure it out in any logial shape or form of words . REPENT FROM IT ASAP IT SAID. RUN FROM KNOWLEDGE OF OR LOGIC OF OR THE LAKE OF FIRE AWAITS YOU IT SAID. BLIND ME FROM THIS MANIPULATION PUT TO CONTROL THE MASSES MY LORD.
Great answer. Theologically sound as always by Pt. John. I often wrestled with this. Church and sermons did not satisfyy question "If God is good and all powerful, why so mucj suffering?" Lot of angst. Until... I watched a CNN documentary on Michael Morton. In the 80s He was a regular guy in his 30s with a wife and young kid. One day he came back home to his wife killed brutally. The police thought he had done it due to a sticky note he had left as she had refused to have sex with him the previous night, his birthday. He was sentenced to life. He held on to his sons visits. They stopped when his son became a teen, when he started thinking his Dad had killed his mom. Michael was finallybeonerated after 25 yrs with DNA proving another man was the killer. He says in the doc ( and his book " Getting life") something like " I know there is a God. He is very wise and he loves me " This is the reasoning for suffering. God permits suffering we dont always know why. But if we know him we gain meaning and hope. Please watch the documentary or read hia book. Enlightening.
What I am about to say is not very pastoral and should not be used with grieving people, but the fact of the matter is that God has not promised us a trouble-free life. What He has promised is that He will be with us in all our afflictions and will work all things for the good of those that have put their faith in Him. This life is not all that there is.
Jesus Christ went to the cross and now lives to set sinful you free from death and hell. Repent and turn your heart to Him before it’s too late. If He calls your heart, say yes!
God bless u sir May u know thete surely qre other saints who have the same problem of keeping their hope in the Lord during tough times It would be wonderful if u were to read romans 8:18
Jesus said: 'my kingdom is not of this world', because Satan rules it--for now, until the second coming of Christ when he will establish his kingdom, i.e., "...thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven", and eliminate suffering. So, for now, we are on our own to do our best in a Satan-controlled world. God gave us Jesus to save us spiritually. But at special times He also sends us miracles to help.
Regarding natural disasters and physical sufferings, as I summed up in : All in all, it is the perfect design and creation of the Heavenly Father that enables each species to have a wholesome (or sound) and integrated body, which perfectly matches mild living environments, stable genetic reproductions, and nutritious, hygienic and non-toxic diets, and so on. For having all of these wholesome, good, health and soundness, we human beings should really be grateful to God the Father, and do not take them for granted. Because if according to "evolution" and "atheism", it is normal that this "evolving" or "random" earth fills with numberous disasters and disabilities continually, isn't it? Human beings have no qualifications to complain that God's creation is not perfect or not well done. Human beings should only be grateful for God's creation that is amazing, wholesome, beautiful, wise, and loving. At the same time, it is sin that has caused the entire earth to lose the wholesome integrity (or the perfection) of the Garden of Eden at the beginning. Human beings just should repent for their sins to avoid unnecessary disasters and a lot of unnecessary defects and illnesses - in accordance with God's creation Laws. We the people should take good care of the balanced and diverse ecological nature as we enjoy our healthy living precious blood. In addition, we trust in the Holy and Almighty GOD and can pray to God the Father for special mercy and healing sometimes. In the Victory Name of LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
Excellent response and the first point really hits home for me. I have a question about the third response, was God suffering a horrific and painful death on the cross not enough for Him to end suffering? Or is it because we are still living in sin after the crucifixion that we still experience this? I'm sure I could have worded that a lot better as I don't mean any disrespect.
Ive been paralyzed quadraplegic in bed since 13 years after a bike accident. My mom cleans my shit. had a gf she coudnt take it and left. talk about suffering in a country like India where thers no wheelchair accessible place anywhere except big cities.
00:20 - You notice everything listed is all man-centered sins and evil? Not a single one centered on God... When the real evil is God being hated and rejected, God taken lightly and mocked, Jesus Christ's name being blasphemed every day, God not loved, not worshiped... God's gospel distorted and false gospel spread... That's the real tragedy.... It's to the point where even the people of God aren't centered around God. God is just something on the side and not the real reason and basis for our lives and the world.. Oh how man centered God's people have become.. The question's supposed to be - if God is sovereign why does He let His holy name and the name of His holy Son Jesus Christ blasphemed everyday? Why is He letting those who hate and mock Him live? That's supposed to be the frustration and question God's people have.
I think Pastor John is addressing that in his third point by saying that God himself suffered the outrage of being rejected and crucified that is greater than the outrage of man-centred sins and evil
@@redhocs Ya we don't get the suffering Jesus did and knew he would be back rising high in the sky knowing for possitively sure where he's going. @@trafficjon400Where did God say that those who don’t know him are not to blame? The Bible teaches that no one has an excuse for their unbelief because creation testifies to God’s existence. Romans 1:18-20
Read the book of John. Maybe you don’t don’t feel guilt for your sin because you don’t appreciate how grievous your (and my) sin is when compared to the holiness of God. Read Isaiah 6 to see Isaiah’s reaction to seeing God’s holiness and realizing how sinful he was.
@@MrPatdeeee Sin doesn’t need to happen though. Like I said, God can create a sinless world with free will just like heaven if he wanted. So sin is not necessary.
@@Iamwrongbut It seems you have a misapprehension of the history of the cosmos, including of heaven. Satan was cast out of heaven due to his willful sinning. But not immediately. So were many fallen angels, and those for different sorts of sins. But again, not immediately. This is actual history we're talking about here. Yes, this reality is a strange place. But no more strange than the bare notion of reality itself (ie that there should be reality). I'm not sure if you're looking to argue or debate; if so, sorry not interested. But if you'd genuinely like to learn more, there are places to start your search in the scriptures. Let me know.
God created People to sin and suffer so he could rescue them giving better things to do wile being God. i gues he diden't want to create any thing equally to challenge or feel the same with. yet we are challenged daily i don't know.

"If God Is Sovereign, Why Is His World Full of Suffering?" Interesting title kind Sir...The simple answer IS: "Sin" is the reason. But more... It dates back 'circa 6,000 yrs; when both "Eve and then Adam" sinned; against what Jesus, who IS God, had commanded. And that has not stopped; in EVERY SINGLE mortal; that has ever been. Yes, from "birth to death"... Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. AND...every time we sin...Leviticus 26:28 Then I (Jesus) will walk contrary (against) you also in fury (wrath); and I, even I, will chastise ("Punish" in today's language) you seven times for (each of) your sins. (But I will also bless you untold; for every good deed!") Praise Jesus' Holy Name; and that IS true Justice! Thus, Jesus is still "Sovereign": and He, from creation, chose to give us "FREE Will!". Thus we can commit good deeds AND bad deeds. From birth to death. For if that was not so; and we were puppets on a string that never sinned; how would there ever be a quintessential "Justice" world; not to mention Heavenly "Justice"... Where the "redeemable" AND the "UN"-redeemable goes to Heaven. And never forget: that even with that "freewill"; Jesus STILL will forgive EVERY sin; But...the "UN-forgivable sin". And that is the ONLY sin; that sends ANY one to hell. Regardless of what MOST Christians says; "That is NOT true!". Well it is true and Jesus said it..."So sit down and listen for a change!"... Mark 3:28 Verily I (Jesus) say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men (everyone), even blasphemies howsoever they shall blaspheme (except one blaspheme): Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme* against the Holy Spirit; has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation (hell). ...In any case kind Sir and Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN! * Any one that does not accept the FREE gift of "Everlasting Life" before they die; by" believing IN Jesus"... John 3:16 For God (who IS Jesus) so loved the world, that he gave of Himself, AKA: "only Begotten Son", that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. "THE most precious verse!"
If political commands willed to give to the same citizens which voted for the head or beholding president leading....to have every need reflected to make money, energy, time, as well as how the echoes say from the leaders to the voters....then sometimes it looks like they want the president to be them to do the work for them...or maybe they want to rule like to have what the freedom system wants in return...so the eye expects the bottom of the temple to build the same way that gives in both agreeing? Or something might be missing in faith or sight? The leaders really do command a passing to signal ideas...but the crimes might block different views on what realities you see...or what the knowledge wants in truth given the hidden maze we accept in dreams to watch through wells of film or art maybe water of some kind? Humanity is here...and so are the readings of stories or headlines of government order in rule. Heaven....must be somewhere....happy or may you have a joyful birthday with wishes from the treasure you know right well. Keep your health and fight moving. Do not give to the ways not to holy....as you might know?
He isn't answering the question. You can't compare evil with evil which is essentially what he is doing. The fact that people used to get polio has nothing to do with how bad the world is right now.

Is what Piper is saying an overarching biblical concept, or are there any specific scripture passages that teach that suffering is a parable of the moral ugliness of sin?
If this is a black man, he should look into moving his family out of the USA. Black people are targeted by many forces in the US and will never be at peace in this country. A lot of black people are leaving the US for other countries, namely Africa.
It is impossible to believe in the Christian god. The problem of suffering is not just an emotional appeal, but a logical one as it contradicts the idea of a morally perfect being. Piper seems so upset about the people with smallpox but when in death, they transfer to the fires of hell, it’s a different situation and for “god’s glory.” Christianity is a morally repulsive worldview. I left it behind after 20 years.

To accept the answer to this question takes humility. And a realization of the depths of sin and rebellion against god
It’s extremely petty for an all-powerful being to take his vengeance out on babies and infants.
@NEAR TERM EXTINCTION - HUMAN - "Jesus never existed"
LOL

I’m so glad I found Pastor John on UA-cam. I had never heard of him before. I would recommend him to anyone!
And Hope does not put us to shame because God's love has been poured into our Hearts through the holy Spirit who has been given to us."
So our answer is Christ, our assurance and our hope. It's all we've ever had, it's all we ever will have.
13:48 Christ has entered into our suffering. The suffering we have caused ultimately.
How about ready knowing the scripture in full complete context? many wonder who on earth ever did. Honestly but many will say they read scripture asfar as you get.

@@trafficjon400 This verse tells us God is near to the broken-hearted, not Jesus.
About sorrow, misery and mercy
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You will be with me.
However, "Misery does not coincide with poverty; misery is the poverty of the heart without trust, without solidarity, without hope."
From Latin misere (misery, necessity), miser- comes from Latin, where it has the meaning "wretched''.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
The Yoke is an artifact.
of wood to which, forming a harness, the mules or oxen are tied, and to which the lance or stick of the cart, the rudder of the plow, is attached.
"Where there are shadows, it is because there is light"
This statement of yours brought to mind this from Psalm 18
He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

1st John chapter 5 verse 19 says this=
We know we originate with God
But the whole world 🌎🌍
Is lying in the power of the wicked one...
So we know why people are
Suffering
- Romans 11:30-32 NLT
Are we saying, then, that God was unfair?

EVERY BODY IS SUFFERING WHO WORKED HARD TO LIVE IN FAITH. The ones who don't suffer Jesus said i don't know you.

He is very wise and he loves me "
This is the reasoning for suffering. God permits suffering we dont always know why. But if we know him we gain meaning and hope.
Please watch the documentary or read hia book. Enlightening.
BECAUSE WE ARE A SPECK OF DUST TO HIM IS WHY FOR HE SAID SO.
What I am about to say is not very pastoral and should not be used with grieving people, but the fact of the matter is that God has not promised us a trouble-free life. What He has promised is that He will be with us in all our afflictions and will work all things for the good of those that have put their faith in Him. This life is not all that there is.
Why would you think this not for grieving people and how would it matter when its all it is.
Thank you Jonnie P
That is a good point that the moral outrage of sin is greater than the physical outrage of suffering.

Regarding natural disasters and physical sufferings, as I summed up in :
All in all, it is the perfect design and creation of the Heavenly Father that enables each species to have a wholesome (or sound) and integrated body, which perfectly matches mild living environments, stable genetic reproductions, and nutritious, hygienic and non-toxic diets, and so on.

"If God Is Sovereign, Why Is His World Full of Suffering?"
Interesting title kind Sir...The simple answer IS: "Sin" is the reason.
(But I will also bless you untold; for every good deed!")
Praise Jesus' Holy Name; and that IS true Justice!
