F in the chat for Phoenix, but why the hell would you show your face, literally every superhero ever has some sort of conflict about trying not to reveal their identity
I think it was matter of taking personal responsibility for his fuckup. Also his identity would of been on public record at that point due to his arrest.

Not quite the same, but I understand the confusion. In the Dark Knight those guys are trying to fight mobsters meanwhile in real life people are taking on the less violent task of giving food to the houseless. Phoenix Jones was right about the two groups people fundamentally different, but it was presented in a belittling and being of a lesser value sort of way. If you think about it, even deadly drugs are sold legally, look at some of the pharmaceuticals we make and then see doctors and patients abuse. I mean low-budget vigilantes or heroes would just be cannon fodder for street violence. But I mean it would still be pretty cool to have a local low budget vigilante that hadn’t died yet. And maybe they work up the ranks and with enough support from the community they upgrade their “gadgets”. And become the hero the neighborhood needs, but maybe not the the one they deserve right now.
Yeah, its a definite shame that happened. I feel like the combined loss of employement, pride attached to his real name, and increased support from followers really did him in unfourtunately. It seems that once you lose your normal life after being unmasked, you can no longer go back to having the perspective of a normal citizen anymore. I think thats why he probably started developing his superiority complex, because their were no longer two seperate egos, he literally became one with his alter ego, and that was his fall :(
(Spider-man: no way home spoiler alert) Having just seen that movie in theaters I am really astonished at how on the money they were about revealing your identity!!! I always thought the citizens in Marvel were unrealistically cruel to Peter, but it's honestly so similar to this case where they both have some supporters but the rest of the city thinks so lowly of them, and the constant bad press. Even how Jones lost his job after revealing his identity is like Peter being rejected from universities and ridiculed at school. Insane. No the most perfect comparison but STILL
Yeah, actually, that is a good comparison. I still admire Phoenix Jones because he actually took action and fought crime just because he wanted to. He still has my mad respect for doing such an out of bounds thing in a day to day life.

I hope they try to do this again and succeed. Would be awesome to have Heroes walking around
As a Seattle Local, we Fuckin loved this guy. He even had an arch enemy make his presence known through our public radio stations.. it was hilarious and wholesome. Until the drug stuff..

The hero Seattle deserves!
I mean its seatle what did y’all expect.
I can’t get over the fact that Phoenix Jones has a legit superhero origin. Car got broken into one day and he said enough was enough lol
Best origin story ever.
And then he started fueling other people's addiction that often leads to burglary
the fact that the ski mask he found became a part of his suit is unironically one of the best origin stories i’ve ever heard, real or fake

Now that he's gone rogue there's only one man who can stop him. A hero from an bygone era, buried in the pages of history, the man who held off the entire Seattle Police with nothing but a Katana for 11 hours, shrugged of tasers, bean bag bullets, tear gas while still maintaining his discipline.
The Seattle Samurai, Apollo
This without context sounds like the origin for a supervillain. “He was a hero, but his ego slowly brought him down until he was busted for selling drugs and got arrested.”
Is that true
I never knew he actually sold drugs
@@marcusp9288 He “Had the intention of selling them”.
@@ausername1761 funny because they don’t bust actual drug dealers in Seattle anymore
@@marcusp9288 You think the cops bust drug dealers anywhere? lmao Someone doesn't understand how easy it is to make quota when you know where to scope out: why ruin that?
Everyone is underestimating this guy's low-key genius. He was literally a vigilante in a ten-thousand dollar bullet-proof super hero suit, beating up drunk drug dealers then taking the junkie's hand and lifting them up and saying, "look you never have to buy from those shady-ass drug dealers ever again, I'm a real life super-hero, I work with the police, and oh yeah! I sell me a boatload of MDMA so you don't ever have to buy from someone you don't trust again." This guy eliminated all the competition and made it to where he was the last person anyone would ever suspect as a dealer... This was brilliant. This man was the smartest, most noble person to ever live. I don't see how this shouldn't be adapted by every major city. Just have a trust-worthy, super-hero drug dealer that handles all the kingpin stuff.
Phoenix Jones 4D plan to corner the Seattle street drug market.
Yea and every friday night shine a big light in the shape of a "C" in the sky so Captain Cocain comes to help.
How do you know that's what he said or intended? Maybe he was just dealing drugs.
@@jayjasespud he apparently did drug dealing a long time ago so it COULD be true,it would be cool too.
And then when he become the only drug dealer, make him stop selling making all of the junkies recover
What if Rex Velvet framed Phoenix Jones of being a drug dealer, and that was his long game the whole time?
Lmao he got petty with no response the fun stuff so he went true evil. Classic Rex Velvet
Hmmmm...
Rex velvet won in the end
Rex thought pheonix jones got in the way of the actual police and wanted to stop him
I imagine that in an alternate universe we have: Dog the Bounty Hunter try’s arresting Phoenix Jones for not going to court on drugs charges.
7 years ago Narcan saved my life after being dead for 120 seconds after overdosing.
I'm two years sober now and I don't go anywhere without a case of it in my glovebox or at home. You never know who might need it, amazing stuff
