The one that being two is there anyway to separate them? i thought they would come separate. If I use only one side is it danger to keep the other half rolled up?

I didn't see the Pro version on the Govee website. Wonder why they are only available on Amazon.

Bro can this rgbic pro syc with the tv imersion strip with the camera and the regular rgbic lightstrip can it be sync using the app?
I want to say yes but havent tried. I would try to contact the brand/ seller to double check. But you should be able to control the regular light strip via app too.
Can you just turn off the lights on just the excess section you don't want? Like turn off the last 2 feet
I believe so? Since you can control each certain section of the led light strip.
SO the question is .. SHOULD YOU BUY GOVEE?? THE ANSWER IS NO!!! RGBIC is only 155leds in 32feet,... and can only control sets of 3 at a time.. where as the Addressable RGB can have 300 led's for 16.4 feet and can be controlled individually check out the BTF-LIGHTING WS2812B RGB 5050SMD Individual Addressable 16.4FT 60Pixels/m 300Pixels it cost a little more but the effects are worth it .. I have govee RGBIC and if I had seen this before, I would NOT have got the Govees

Thanks so much for the review. It was very helpful. Do you know what the difference is between the Govee RGBIC Pro and Govee RGBIC? I only ask because there is a $20 difference in price between the two models and they are both RGBIC. I want to purchase (3) 64 ft Govee lightstrips and that's a $60 difference plus tax so want to make sure I am getting value for extra money. I am new to lighting so it's a tad confusing. Thanks again for a great channel and clarifying this.

I just got basics today ($27, 32 feet) off amazon. The paid reviewer saying less lights can't be true.. I compared his pro to my basic and the leds are spaced equally apart around the Govee logo.
The differences are pro has protective film on the strips and wifi capable (alexa). You may get a couple more effects in app but idk on that. That's the only difference

Can the pro version be cut to a length?
It does work if you cut at the correct spot that is marked on the strips light, but you sacrifice full functionality of the scenes and diy settings.
@@IsitWorthit1 does it still work in the app without the section? Or does it not register at all?
