  • How to remove old sand and cement render from a brick and block wall using a hammer drill tips and techniques given
    Removing plaster and render my way learn how I hack of old render from the concrete block wall getting it ready to be plastered with sand and cement render, Removing old render and plaster is not always an easy job but must be done in order to make it all good and new again.... during the video I give my main 2 tactics using an electric hammer drill to chisel and chip of the old render I talk about how i set up ,covering the ground to make clean up easy , the lower power to make using the sds drill safer at 110 instead of 240. Safety tips both how to keep the wire and your feet away from falling rubble safety gear such as mask and safety glasses, ear defenders, gloves and how to safely use the drill time limits for your safety hope you get on well with your plaster and render removal job and hope this video / demo helped

      Yea not sure what it is myself mate heavy drill but cheap and gets the job done with plenty of power

      That's true man can be nice when it is all jumping off but not so good on the parts that fight hard to stay on haha and yes the cleaning

    Looks like you got there just in time, as that large area of blown render could have fallen off at any time! BTW never heard the term scudding, is that the same as scabbling (to provide a key)?

      For sure I would not want this to have landed on any1 was very hard and heavy.... scud coat is a slurry mix I do have other videos on channel where i show it (scud coating render ) but hopefully follow up on this job with all the next steps and stages
