Some schools are better than others, some schools are scams if not poor in quality. Should we judge the school by the teachers, by the make up kits that they will sell you, by the work that they bring in or provide. In short if you were to do it all over again what would you recommend a budding young student look for. Where would you go to if you had a second chance to study your craft? Thank-You. :-)
I read a couple of comments already about this but now with virus', bacteria and sanitation being number one I think you really need to present with cleaner makeup and casing. For instance your Anastasia eye brow book had grime all over it. I would not be ok with this as a customer, it is a bad reflection and a red flag. Thank you for for sharing everything and I hope you understand where I am coming from.
Agree, the entire case, drawers, pallets, the bags, should be clean. I understand as a makeup artist for 30 years it's a messy venture when working with clients but your kit should be throughly inspected and cleaned for the next client. I agree about the red flag. Having a clean kit will elevate you, as well, I am surprised by the long nails. While they are trendy, top make-up artists would not have nails that long, it's not hygienic or the proper length for a make-up artist who works on the face and eye area. Something to consider and suggestions. I think it's great you are over stocked and agree you never know when you will need something.
