this is giving me motivation to start working out, you got any tips for people with really fast metabolisms? I cant seem to gain weight no matter how much I eat. Been stuck weighing 65kg for a few years now, and at one point I was eating around 3,000cal a day but still didn't put on any weight.
add olive oil to literally everything, also i’ve heard great things about mass gainers, just try and max calories every day, don’t have a set amount
Also eat until you are full and eat a little more after that, basically eat more than you burn
I have a really fast metabolism but I ate 3500 calories a day and I was gaining weight but I felt awful all the time. I recommend getting liquid calories in with high calorie smoothies or milkshakes. I don’t have the exact measurements but try 1-2 bananas, a few scoops of icecream, 1-3 spoonfuls of peanut butter, then add milk until it is at the consistency you want, then blend it and that is an easy 600-1000 calories and a lot of protein on top of whatever you are eating it with. You need to consistently eat on a calorie surplus or you won’t see a difference. I am in a very similar situation to you where I only seem to gain weight when I get taller, but don’t give up and it is possible

If you don’t have access to a gym, you can do simple exercises like push ups, or get a backpack full of books and some sort of rod to stick through the backpack straps to use it for curls, or you can wear the backpack for different squat variations or calf raises. There are a bunch of different push up forms you can do to target different muscle groups as well as no equipment core exercises and if you can’t do an exercise, there is always a way to build up to being able to. When I started working out in my room years ago, I couldn’t do a single push up, but I watched tutorials on how to build up to doing push ups which really helps. Also, it may seem embarrassing now, but take progress pictures before you start and through the process. Everyone finds it embarrassing at first but a year or two into it, you would regret not taking day 1 but photos to see where you started and where you have reached
