Also anime idols is false advertisement for jpop idols. Anime idols are more like kpop idols than jpop. I got interested in idol culture as a result of anime but instead of jpop i ended up drawn to kpop. I personally think it's wishful thinking to ask that there be no comparison between the two, because it's just impossible for them not to be compared especially when people are first getting familiar with idol culture .

J-pop idols want their fans to have a great time with them and forget their daily lives as well as inspire them to do their best and gain strength to never give up.
