It’s part of anti army propaganda in soft manner. He is talking against the law. Establishment of DHA in Quetta is as per law and on demand of Balochistan people that Balochistan is without a DHA.
@@shahidnazir6405 You are raising the wrong question here. The question should be how can the Armed Forces acquired land by force in Quetta for the firing range and despite the owner won cases from High Court and Supreme Court, they did not vacate that land. And now on the same land, they are constructing the DHA. And on your point that it is against the law, well the sole purpose of the law to serve the common people and not to oppress the people. If there are such laws that don't allow to speak against the injustice then they should be changed. But alas, it will not happen in Pakistan as it did not happen in the last 30, 40 years and the system will continue to be rigged as it suits the masters of this country and that includes politicians as well.

The Quetta incident reminds me.of my cousin's 10acre agricultural land grabbed by Air force in the name of Air base security 10 years ago with no payment for last 10 years. When my cousin went to the court, no judge wanted to hear the case while PAF doesnt bother to contest it and the case is still pending ever since.

My father worked his whole life as an Engineer in Power Sector. Bought some plots in DHA City Lahore post retirement. It was a scam. COAS Ishfaq Parvez Kiyani's brother was involved. Now there are thousand of affectees like us with plot files and supreme court order(in our favour) waiting for our plots.

Same happened with us in Lahore.Where the owner of society sold complete block for DHA Phase 10 including my 10 Marla corner plot.Now after two years we unlucky pakistani are looking for our amount first installment through Nab.I'm serving private sector so you can imagine how our hard earned money and its value became zero

Makes sense. Questioning Army commercial and political role in every field in Pakistan is considered propaganda. However, its a very basic right of every citizen to question Army’s political and economic related involvement.
I have seen educated class attacking if one questions the corrupt practices of Army as an institution (The concept of untouchable still prevails). Still we need lot of time to reach maturity level to question the unquestionable part of our society.

@@omarkhan1932 Now let's assume, he's even a constable, the truth remains unchanged. I worked as a real estate agent in DHA Lahore after working for a Multinational company as a Manager for a decade. Trust me Army officers were always more updated on plots than estate agents , and the way they treat some villages who don't want to sell is horrible, few deaths occurred in charar pind Lahore as they didn't want to sell their lands, Army has no right to snatch the land from people , especially when they want to make money out of it. DHA s has nothing to do with National defence and it never happens in any developed country including India. This idea is quite unique to Pakistan only. In this regard Ashir Azeem is perfectly correct .

Majority of men in uniform are patriotic and should not be maligned by the actions of few who have turned the institution into a profiteering conglomerate. Since Military cantonments offer clean and safer environment, therefore, lot of civilians buy (rightfully or wrongly) properties there, but find out that they have to live by the Base Commander’s rule, then why get surprised. Ashir Bahi, if there was no cantonment in Khuzdar, I am sure RAW would have the BLA, BLF etc. built one there. You are a distinguished gentleman who started his career in the PAF, and used it as a springboard to get another distinguished career in Civil services. You are an asset of a Nation which provided you the vast experience and wisdom. I am sure that patriots (me included) concur with your assessment, but we need to be careful when putting the blame.

His problems may be very genuine but his presentation doesn't match his personality and educational background. I really feel bad about it. May Allah SWT always keep us on a right path. Ameen.
zahid malik sahib, I have a great respect for Ashir, and I believe that he like any other retired Civil Servant, can sit back and reflect on the good, the bad and the ugly. However, there were few things, which he stated in this video regarding the ‘establishment’ which I have objection, and it’s ok to disagree with someone you admire. First of all, ‘establishment’ is NOT just the Military. Anyone, who has gone through Pak courts, would tell you the state of affairs of the ‘Establishment’ which rules the Justice system, same goes for Police, putwar khana, the WAPDA, Sui gas, etc etc. and as far as DHA is concerned, yes, they have done few things which are not nice (me and my family have been affected by their actions also) but can you say that Malik Riaz and few dozen other housing societies haven’t done same kind of things. How many families have been defrauded by Malik Riaz, may be countless.
There were lot more things he stated in the video, which came across as being presented with a bias (that’s my opinion). For instance, when he stated that while in Quetta, his SP friend, SDM and him were going out for a tea and how MPs had it out of bound, well, first of, why the shop was established in Cantt area? If the people of Quetta, like Ashir suggests like to have tea, then why this shop was not established outside the Cantt, just stating one incident and somehow giving an impression that all the injustice is being inflicted by only one institution is not fair. Ashir reminds me of an old ship which no longer sails, but keep reminiscing the glory days of exotic port calls it made in the past.

Sir, me and my family are from UK and we earned our hard earned money and invested it back in Pakistan. My parents built a home in Gujranwala Cantt back in the early 90s and after some years in 2000-01 the army started harassing everyone who had a three story house which everyone did because it was legal to build three story homes at that time but when a new Core Commander came he ordered everyone to deconstruct the third story from our houses without any solid reason. After some people refused to do that as it was dangerous and could end up ruining the whole house, one day when we were away from home, the army came when there was no one at home and completely destroyed our third story of the house. What kinda jungle society do these people come from? After that all the civilian people held a meeting with the core commander and things got heated up there due to harassing and intolerable tone being used by the core commander and my father gave him some peace of his mind and put him in his place. After that we were constantly harassed by the army during entry into the cantt. We were harassed by the army every time we got in any encounter with them. These people are the real mafia and the reason why our country is where it is right now. These are the hidden feudal who have ripped this country from its rights and resources since the very beginning when it got independence and there is nothing you can do about it sadly.

Our land was grabbed by FWO in the name of CPEC city on Motorway M1 Peshawar near Nowshera Rashakai Interchange. We have bought that in 2007 for Rs 4 Lac and they have given us Rs 2 Lac in 2019.
