Cresswell and Joffy have both lost out on 2 seasons of playing and developing. Firstly under Bielsa when Marcelo had massive first team injuries which meant all the best U23s (as was) were sat on the first team bench and not able to play for the 23s which is why they got relegated straight after winning the league and getting promotion. Both have missed out yet again last season as Farke didn’t select them and only got a few minutes. So I believe with Joffy he has been unlucky, even when at Sunderland as he was brought in to play as a 10 or second striker, but the main striker got a very bad injury so poor old Joffy had to play as a loan striker which isn’t his game. Mowbray apologised to him but he had no option
I read somewhere that Sky promised to give the dates for all televised fixtures for all clubs from the beginning of the season until the third round of the FA Cap by the beginning of the season. We shall wait and see if they keep that promise. I don't think there is a problem with Charlie Cresswell but with his father and that impacts Charlie, something Farke will not put up with.
Need to get the full back positions nailed down asap, we are light there but it’s also a key element of Farkes overall style and don’t think we have seen best of it yet due to our lack of full backs.
Don’t think we’ll see the incomings until we find out who’s going or wants to go, the problem is towards the end of the window clubs come in with last minute bids when we don’t have enough time to find replacements.

Slightly worried about this 1 in and 1 out policy - lost players on loan, various issues with the squad and particularly the bench, a few players left (shacks and coops) and still possible sales. We have basically lost a player that could play very well in 2 positions.

Any Prem loans like Gilcrest will always be late as they take them on pre season, Possibility of Roberts, but has also been said to be a late call. Id expect some in over the next two weeks. Rodon in is nice, but would like the full backs sorted and a midfielder
