Hi i have a question. I live in the Caribbean, it’ s hot and in some areas really humid. I would like to know if you will make a version of the mdv folder with a more rust resistant steel. I know that with proper care it won’ t be an issue but I have a crazy busy lifestyle and I’ d prefer not to have to worry about my blade that much, also I’ m often around water so it will make me more at ease having a different steel. I know it’ s propably not possible ( production costs and everything) but I’ d be willing to pay more for a personalised order. That said I really dig your videos, great knives too!
Cheers mate.. after living in the Caribbean myself for more then 20 years we all know there is no such thing that will not rust in that environment. We had a saying in Cayman that if its not rusted, broken or bent, its not on island.... The Titanium MDV folder will do better but the D2 blade will go to shit quick.. about the best defensive blade we carry that would work for you is the Aluminum Dagger or MDV fixed blade.. at least they wont rust but depending on where in the El Carib you life, it might be not so easy to get those items though Customs.. What is your intended use of the blade and maybe we can suggest some items for you and where in the Caribbean do you live?
@@SkallywagtacticalJesus Christ that’ s so true. I’ ve moved here a year ago from Italy, where I lived near the sea too, but here things rust crazy fast! For now I’ m in the Dominican Republic and for the delivery I use a service ( BM CARGO), where the seller delivers to an address in MIAMI and from there they send it here ( you have your account with real time updates, pretty cool). Problem is that I would like to use it for personal defense, and as I dress with a suit while working or light sporty shorts in my free time a the titanium folder would have been perfect. The dagger it’ s cool and I wanted that one too, I’ve been following your site for more than a year waiting to come here to be closer but now I realized here it’ s deadly for metals. Do you recommend the fixed one because of the black coating? It was my first choice but with how I dress here I’ d prefer a folder.
You need a good supply NCO. Business minded only with futures though solid annual data.
