How do you bounce and wiggle at the base of the lash without transferring the mascara onto your lid? I always end up getting the mascara on my eyeshadow when I try this method.
We're so sorry to hear you're having a little trouble applying your mascara with Katie's wiggle technique. We've added some steps below that we hope will help🥰
Katie’s TOP TIPS for longer, fuller looking lashes:
Step 1. Roots - Pop the brush onto your lashes as close to the root as you can. Wiggle: Give the brush a good wiggle back and forth; this covers all the tinier lashes too!
Step 2. Roll - Gently roll the brush from root to tip. For a more extreme false lash effect, apply three more coats. It’s easier to not wait for each coat of mascara to dry between coats, but you may like to take your time and let it dry completely between each coat. Experiment with what works best for you. We love to apply more coats on the outer corner of our eyes! Katie uses this technique on all my makeup artist clients too and they love it!
Step 3. Katie swears by using an old clean toothbrush to brush out any mascara clogs in the lashes before the mascara dries fully. It's a simple and yet very effective tip to use with every mascara you ever own!
