You’re welcome. There’s a lot of info in our videos. Check them all out. If you think something is missing let us know and maybe we’ll make one on your topic.

Is it possible to laser etched a fully developed/exposed blank polymer plate?

when I develop the cliché, does it turn out better when I light the raster and then the film?

No. The image film must go first, followed by the raster.

Hi, do we necessarily need the line screen ?

@@gabz7802 in photopolymer unless you are including halftones in the film for 4 color process type work, or you are using a special material that has a fixed depth, a line screen is always necessary.

@@PadprintersIMS Hi thank you very much for getting back to me. I ended up buying a line screen (120 lines one).
I managed to etch my plate correctly (I guess) but when I tried to print, the ink got into the etching (as it should) but when I press the pad on the inked etched parts to collect the ink, no ink gets on the silicon pad.
Do you have any idea why this could happen ? I use Marabu Tpl ink with solvent added (10%)
One last question: I use solvent to clean the ink and my pad printer but I realized that I had nowhere where to dumb that, do you collect the wast in a sort of big pot ? or do you simply throw it down the drain (I don't think so?) ?
