God is good all the time. I had this video set to watch while getting my truck cleaned. Then a stranger sat next to me and we started talking. It eventually led to talking about Yeshua and i was able to explain our faith. I then got to play this song for him and the Holy spirit started working in him. Praise Yeshua for such a good day. Para entender el origen y el significado del nombre יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshúa,
antes que nada es importante hablar de la terminación שׁוּעַ Shúa.
Porque שׁוּעַ Shúa la encontraremos en la Biblia Hebrea, bajo tres formas:
como un nombre, como un sustantivo y como una raíz del verbo יָשַׁע (yash á) Salvar. La Palabra שׁוּעַ Shúa la encontramos cinco veces en la Biblia; 2 veces en Génesis y 2 veces en Crónicas y una vez en Job, también vamos a encontrar la raíz שׁוּעַ Shúa en algunos nombres y en algunas palabras. En Deuteronomio 3:21 y Jueces 2:7 encontramos el nombre יְהוֹשׁוּעַ con la terminación שׁוּעַ Shúa y se pronuncia Yehoshúa, [Quien tenga una Biblia Hebrea podrá verificar]. También hay otros nombres con la terminación שׁוּעַ.
Sheá שֵׁעַ , shúa שֻׁעַ y shúa שׁוּעַ son raíces del verbo יָשַׁע (yashá) salvar. No debemos confundir la raíz שׁוּעַ shúa con las palabras homógrafas שׁוּעַ shúa que tienen difrerente significado. La primera vez que aparece שׁוּעַ Shúa como palabra, es en Génesis 38:2
וַיַּרְא־שָׁם יְהוּדָה בַּת־אִישׁ כְּנַעֲנִי וּשְׁמוֹ שׁוּעַ וַיִּקָּחֶהָ וַיָּבֹא אֵלֶיהָ׃
Shúa שׁוּעַ es un nombre cananeo. También encontramos שׁוּעַ shúa como otra palabra homógrafa que se escribe igual, en Job 30:24.
אַךְ לֹא־בְעִי יִשְׁלַח־יָד אִם־בְּפִידוֹ לָהֶן שׁוּעַ׃
esta palabra שׁוּעַ shúa es un sustantivo relaccionado con el verbo שָׁוַע shavá, su significado es: Gritar o clamar por ayuda.
¡Tenemos que tener claro esto! Para no cometer errores de confusión. Ahora bien, encontraremos la terminación shúa שׁוּעַ como raíz del verbo יָשַׁע [yashá] Salvar en los nombres: Elishúa אֱלִישׁוּעַ que significa: Mi Dios salva. Malkishúa מַלְכִּי־שׁוּעַ , que significa: Mi Rey salva. Abishúa אֲבִישׁוּעַ , que significa: Mi Padre salva. Y también encontraremos shúa שׁוּעַ en el nombre Yeshúa יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshúa.
Ahora, sabiendo que los nombres que terminan con שׁוּעַ shúa estan relaccionados con el verbo yashá יָשַׁע Salvar y esta terminacion shúa, no tiene nada que ver con el nombre Shúa שׁוּעַ ni con el sustantivo Shúa שׁוּעַ que se relacciona con el verbo שָׁוַע shavá y su significado es: Gritar o clamar por Ayuda
Antes de continuar con el origen y el significado del nombre יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshúa según el Tanaj Hebreo.
Es necesario familiarizarnos con estos dos nombres Hebreos y con sus respectivas variantes, y como fueron traducidos al Español.
Nombre: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshúa Variante: יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshúa Traducido como: Jesúa o Josué
Nombre: יְהוֹצָדָק Yehotzadak Variante: יוֹצָדָק Yotzadak. Traducido como: Josadac
En la biblia Hebrea encontraremos varios personajes con el nombre יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshúa. Para saber de cuál Yeshúa estamos hablando, debemos que tener en cuenta el texto y el contexto, para no confundirlo con: Josué hijo de Nun, siervo de Moisés.
Estos son algunos personajes con el nombre Yeshúa traducido como: Jesúa o Josué
Esdras 3:2 יֵשׁוּעַ בֶּן־יוֹצָדָק Jesúa hijo de Josadac. Nehemías 10:9 יֵשׁוּעַ בֶּן־אֲזַנְיָה Jesúa hijo de Azanías.
Nehemías 12:24 יֵשׁוּעַ בֶּן־קַדְמִיאֵל Jesúa hijo de Cadmiel.
Nehemías 8:17 Nun יֵשׁוּעַ בִּן־נוּן. Josué hijo de Nun.
Yeshúa יֵשׁוּעַ (Jesúa ) hijo de Yotzadak יוֹצָדָק (Josadac), era uno de los cautivos que volvi ó con zorobabel a Jerusalén.
Ahora conociendo acerca de las variaciones de algunos nombres Hebreos, vemos que Yeshúa y Yotzadak son nombres abreviados
y los encontramos escritos en Español como: Jesúa o Josué y Josadac.
También sabemos que los Profetas Hageo y Zacarías eran contemporáneos de Zorobabel y de Yeshúa (Jesúa). Si leemos el Libro de Esdras
y los libros de Hageo y Zacarías entenderemos mejor.
En Esdras capítulo 5:1-2 Profetizaron Hageo y Zacarías hijo de Iddo, ambos profetas, a los judíos que estaban en Judá y en Jerusalén en el nombre del Dios de Israel quien estaba sobre ellos. 2 Entonces se levantaron Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel y Yeshúa (Jesúa) hijo de Yotzadak (Josadac), y comenzaron a reedificar la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalén; y con ellos los profetas de Dios que les ayudaban.
Ahora en el libro del Profeta Hageo en el capítulo 1:1,14 encontramos escrito: En el año segundo del rey Darío, en el mes sexto, en el primer día del mes, vino palabra de יהוה por medio del profeta Hageo a Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel, gobernador de Judá, y a Josué hijo de Josadac, sumo sacerdote.
En el versículo 14 Y despertó יהוה el espíritu de Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel, gobernador de Judá, y el espíritu de Josué hijo de Josadac, sumo sacerdote, y el espíritu de todo el resto del pueblo; y vinieron y trabajaron en la casa de יהוה de los ejércitos, su Dios
Hay algo curioso porque en Esdras 5:2 Yeshúa es traducido como Jesúa hijo Josadac, estos dos nombres aparecen abreviados, mientras que en el libro del profeta Hageo 1:1 aparece Yeshúa traducido como Josué hijo de Josadac, pero en la Biblia Hebrea, en Hageo 1:1, estos dos nombres aparecen sin variantes esto es: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshúa hijo de יְהוֹצָדָק Yehotzadak.
Ahora, el nombre de יְהוֹצָדָק Yehotzadak es referido solamente a una persona, y no hay otros Yehotzadak en la Biblia Hebrea, mientras encontraremos otros personajes con el nombre de Yeshúa.
En conclusión, para no dejar dudas: Yeshúa יֵשׁוּעַ es una de las variantes del nombre יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshúa.
¡Así es como está escrito en la Biblia Hebrea!.
Leamos en Nehemías 8:17 Y toda la congregación que volvió de la cautividad hizo tabernáculos, y en tabernáculos habitó; porque desde los días de Josué hijo de Nun hasta aquel día, no habían hecho así los hijos de Israel.Y hubo alegría muy grande.
Encontramos escrito: Josué hijo de Nun.
El nombre Nun en la Biblia Hebrea, es para referirse a una sola persona y Nun es el padre de Yehoshúa. Lo curioso es que en el libro de Nehemías según la “Versión Reina Valera” las veces que se refiere al nombre Yeshúa esta traducido como Jesúa, y solamente en el versículo 17 del capítulo 8 lo tradujeron Josué. Aunque si está escrito en Hebreo יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshúa y es una de las variantes del nombre יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshúa.
¡Cosas de Traducciones!
Con esto sabemos que Yeshúa es la variante aun m ás corta de Yehoshúa y cuando leemos Yeshúa hijo de Nun se esta refiriéndose a Yehoshúa Hijo de Nun, como está escrito en Num. 11:28: Josué hijo de Nun, ayudante de Moisés
Algo para destacar, es que en Nehemías 8:17 según la Biblia Hebrea está escrito יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshúa hijo de Nun, vemos que יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshúa hijo de Nun asume la variante יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshúa y hace referimiento a la fiesta de los Tabernáculos.
¡Ahora en el libro de Yehoshúa (Josué), no encontramos dicha fiesta!
Pero lo que confirma esto, es que está mencionado en Deuteronomio 31:10 Y les mandó Moisés, diciendo: Al fin de cada siete años, en el año de la remisión, en la fiesta de los tabernáculos. Ahora en Josué 11:15 está escrito: De la manera que יהוה lo había mandado a Moisés su siervo, así Moisés lo mandó a Josué; y así Josué lo hizo, sin quitar palabra de todo lo que יהוה había mandado a Moisés.
Aunque si יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshúa hijo de Nun
está escrito con esta variante abreviada יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshúa, esto no contrarresta el significado del Nombre Yehoshúa. Yehoshúa y Yeshúa significan lo mismo.
El origen de Yeshúa es Yehoshúa,
Yeshúa יֵשׁוּעַ como variante de Yehoshúa יְהוֹשֻׁעַ significa: יהוה Salva o Yáh Salva
Que el Todopoderoso de Israel יהוה los bendiga grandemente
