He's playing off the ball to avoid the double teams and the warriors use him as a decoy to create open looks. Steph is a better player than both kd and kyrie. At the end of the day we know how KD likes to score. 1 or 2 dribble pull up in the midrange area. Celtics know this so they bring a help defender every time he’s about to elevate. They also have the length for 1 on 1 coverage. Great strategy, now it’s up to KD and Nash to make adjustments.
Great point. KD likes to get to his spots and rise up. C’s are blitzing him and rolling the coverages and beating him to his spots when he puts the ball on the floor. KD is a good passer and has to go to that more in the series. With BKN’s shooters it will help open up space that way he can’t get blitzed as much. Also it’s gonna be interesting to see if the games are officiated the same way in Brooklyn. Wild card is Ben Simmons. If KD becomes more of an off ball player in game 4 when Simmons returns it can open up his offense more and help him build rhythm. BKN still has a good shot to win the series

Run some actual plays instead of all this isolation that the C’s can easily stop. Nash has no idea what he’s doing so I’m not surprised. Simmons should be playing game 4 and I honestly think he can help just because the nets are small. Everyone is already writing the nets off but in reality these are 2 games that they should have won. KD and Kyrie will be better and I expect them to protect home court to even this series.

KD athleticism has wavered a little. He isn’t quick enough to get by defenders & he 7ft handling with the ball exposed. It makes it easier for defenders to get up in him & force turnovers. The refs are letting them be physical so he isn’t going to have an efficient series.

Tatum also shot bad this game but he made up for it with hustle and strong defense. That's something Durant just can't bring. If his shot is off he's not a net positive. I've seen Kobe and Lebron impact a game very well without their shot falling.

An extra defender may challenge at the end but most of this is just good one on one defense. It just shows you how flawed KD is.
