She's looking really good. In the beginning I was thinking, "Why bother changing the style of the boat ?" I mean, the Victoria was a good looker in its own right. But it looks so much better and sleeker in it's new configuration. I hope you're considering naming her when she's finished.
One option that cures all sorts of blunders on cabin sides is to glue a sheet of thin mahogany veneer to the outside once all the modifications are done. Then the edges and windows are easily cut out from the inside with an exacto knife blade. You're left with a flawless outer mahogany face.
