Rani Mukherjee has a very genuine personality. The fact that she doesn't take herself too seriously and has the confidence to be goofy on camera is highly commendable. Loved the entire interview!
Rani Mukerji is one of the legendary actor of Hindi cinema...... Kudos to her honesty and positivity........ Much love and definitely audiences would love to see her on screen always and forever

I wish I could say this to u but I love and always will love u Rani ❤
Agreed. And considering the fact that she mentioned having a daughter... Does she want her daughter to live in a world where this exists? Where she will not be compensated fairly for the work she does? Really ignorant of Rani.
how many actresses are there who r more saleable than male counterparts tanu weds manu was one case i can think...the dirty picture to an extent.....p.s i dont want to argue i just want to know your thoughts

she is right. in a way, if you are a SRIDEVI for example you were always paid more than her male counterparts. she had that charisma and talent to bring that many people into the theatre. you always wanted to check out the latest Sridevi movie because she brought something magical each time. in films, salary is all about how much bankable you are as a star. can you bring in more money than what the producer has put into the film making? so if you are a sridevi, money will automatically follow and you will be paid more than a Jeetendra or a Rishi Kapoor even if they may be equal or even senior to her in terms of years in cinema or experience. let's be honest here, is there any Sridevi in our current rat race of actresses? i would say none, maybe Rani comes close. Guys its her opinion. Let her be. She is entitled to have her own friggin opinion. You cant digest it? Your problem. Not that i agree with her but i respect that she is honest.
Rani doesn't care about the gender disparity in her profession because she is from a whole different generation of actresses. Their norms and expectations were established not to create "trouble" or ask for more than they were given. They were simply grateful to last into their 30s when they were replaced by younger girls. With the current generation of actresses, there is a bold acknowledgement of discrimination and a brave effort to demand more by recognizing one's own worth. Comparing Rani's outlook to Anoushka's is like comparing apples to oranges.
Very true. But, Rani also fails to realised her own privileges rather than leaning on towards the craft. It's a business after all and "never dreaming about being rich" comes off as privilege.
It is so ironic that she emphasized so much on 'observation' and yet she seems so ignorant of issues around her. Pay parity arises when two people of equal caliber are paid different. That's discrimination, left, right and center. Doesn't mean, women are asking for 'more' money, it just means they ask that they get what they deserve - EQUAL! By not choosing to acknowledge that (of course, she isn't that stupid), she set back the clock 10 years back. She also seems so ignorant of herself. First, she puts so much emphasis on the 'craft', the 'skill', the no make up thing. Then she wants to romance 10 year older people, she seems so bothered by box office numbers (at the end when she says she'd prefer not to make good stories because people may not come to see her) and then finally she quotes 'Meryl Streep'. Oh, what the hell!
She's a producer's wife so she needs to watch what she says regarding such things or tomorrow headlines would be screaming saying she is slamming producers for not paying enough
i think ppl are just making a fuss over the pay parity issue. but it's an individual thing. yes, we can all worry about what is right vs. wrong. but she says it flat out thts not her main focus as her craft is everything and all her energy is put into that. whereas who gets a bigger hotel room is not something she is concerned with. you have to realize she is a multi-millionaire, the richest actress of our times now that she is married to Aditya Chopra. she could be bothered less whether she is paid 1 crore more or 1 crore less than her male counterpart. all she cares about is what her fans think of her performances. bcoz in the grand scheme of things, she lives a comfortable life outside of films so she dsnt have to create stress for herself on who is getting paid how much. get it, people. that's why she said this her personal opinion. don't make it a political topic.

WELL DONE RANI FOR YOUR HONESTY!
There are so many great actors in the industry who are not paid half of the money the actors or the actress are paid. So it's not about paying equal money to people with equal caliber. Besides, these heroins are paid in crores. Sonam Kapoor was complaining in that interview that why isn't she paid 15 cr!!. Well I don't know what to say. There is pay parity of course.. bt not only between heroes and heroins..
I think Hichki is one of the best unique films that Bollywood and YRF banner has ever produced from the issue at hand, screenplay and Rani gave her career best inch perfect performance in it
About pay parity, people being bothered are insane. She actually thinks out of the box. She doesn't believe in being compared. she said, do your thing. Showcase your craft and money will follow you automatically. Kudos rani!!!
Always loved her but so disappointed to hear that she has no stand or interest towards equality or improvement in her own profession. Such nonsense she is talking in the last part of the interview
Agreed. Especially the last questions about what's more important.. box office performance, audience adulation, or her own need to act in different roles to feel creatively satisfied. She thinks she knows it all and is "sorted" but it really doesn't come across that ways.
A film has many careers at stake, even actors who have retired when they make a comeback want it to be commercially viable because a movie can make or break the careers of spot boys, ADs, writers and so on. Plus films require money lol.
A film has many careers at stake, even actors who have retired when they make a comeback want it to be commercially viable because a movie can make or break the careers of spot boys, ADs, writers and so on. Plus films require making money lol otherwise she wouldn't get roles anymore
She lost me when she turned a blind eye to sexism, pay parity, etc. I mean, wow. Didn't expect it, the way she sounded so smart in almost half the interview.
One doesn't need to be a social activist in order to make sense. Also, this mindset that all of us can say what we feel like and do what we feel like because making sense or for that matter bringing a good change in our society isn't our job, is gonna be the sole reason for our doom.
One of the best interviews,no time waste questions to the point.one of the few times where the host was genuinely interested in knowing the guest experiences👍

Well I believe that it was truely justified, considering that she said she did films to learn and do better and not to fake feminism or to fake social awareness like Anushka, Sonam etc. who are much more about these illusions rather than performing their best on screen.
Rani may be an actress but she is still HUMAN she is not perfect I dnt understand why ppl scrutinize every bit of thing she speaks, it's RIDICULOUS, she is an excellent actor she really doesn't care what ppl say AND SHE DID MENTION THAT
She is yet to come out of the chiffon saree world created by her husband....and why would she bother about sending her daughter out in an equal world when they shall be there to provide her with everything. The whole idea of fighting for rights comes from a feeling of anger or resentment when you have faced or seen something of that sort. Such problems don't exist for ppl who live in mansions and travel to a foreign country whenever they feel like. She says that money has never been important to her but her ultra luxurious lifestyle says quite a different story. I ferl like pulling my hair out when I hear women talk shit like this.
Her opinion on pay parity goes on to show her disrespect for those who have done immaculate work and demand remuneration proportionate to it. It is saddening to see that someone vested with power to influence mass opinion is mincing her words..
That’s patriarchy embedded inside her psyche. It’s also generational divide between her and current crop of actresses who are unafraid to have this pending conversation. Demanding equal pay for equal days of labour is not belittling your craft. Its justice sadly Rani you missed the point
Earlier, only actors who have nurtured their craft and fought for their survival in life at the same time had the courage to speak up for pay parity. Sadly at the time they weren't as "popular" as others. Other than that, rightly educated people, actors or not, always know that equality is basic for everyone. And of course, sadly, in our society, literacy + skills = education.
Agreed. And considering the fact that she mentioned having a daughter... Does she want her daughter to live in a world where this exists? Where she will not be compensated fairly for the work she does? Really ignorant of Rani.

I agree with her. I do not know why ppl are not disputing in the commnets but she clearly said that money is not her thing and she doesn't care about it all she cares about is her performance. She takes her profession as a job and wants a normal life basically.
Love the interview but rani at 10:52 addressing people as 'Gora' is such a regressive thing to say. This is purely the root of racism which may not be reflecting in a negative way but why call people by a race. Just call them foreigners.
I have seen all the replies here and it's not that I'm hurt by her views or anything. I'm generally against categorizing people based on juvenile bases like races than just using common nouns to address a group of people. We should have better basis of categorizing than race, religion, region and other shit. I hope its clear
Srinivas Mohan I agree, it's not that people have different understanding of Indian films because they have white skin but because of their lifestyle and understanding. If she said foreigners, international audience or British etc her point would've been better.
Have always loved Rani, but she's really disappointed me in this video. If ignorance is bliss, she seems to be reveling in it (re pay parity). This is cringeworthy to watch.
Agreed. And considering the fact that she mentioned having a daughter... Does she want her daughter to live in a world where this exists? Where she will not be compensated fairly for the work she does? Really ignorant of Rani.
In a film industry like Bollywood, I am not really sure if one could demand pay basis the effort put in. Look at the dividends that these male stars bring in. Yes, it is indeed a sign of patriarchy and that's how our psyche is designed, which is unfortunate. Rani is spot on when she says that if you do great work, the money will follow. Yes, it involves a little more hard work than what a man ideally does but it ain't impossible. Deepika recently agreed how she was paid more than the men in 'Padmaavat' and it's GREAT. This is despite the fact that Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh had more complex, emotionally and physically straining roles to portray as compared to Padukone. Sridevi used to get paid more than her male contemporaries because she had that clout. Even Madhuri to a great extent could pull in her audience to the cinemas. Can the present set of crusaders manage anything close? It is not a blame/dig at all but that's how it works in India. As for cinegoers, the primary step should be to STOP discriminating cinema basis gender. Go watch a HICHKI or PARI with as much enthusiasm as you assign to a Tiger Zinda Hai, PK and Toilet. Stop labelling them as heroine-centric films and then talk about being equality warriors.
25:44 That’s right there is the high road very few take today, Rani Mukherjee you will forever be more than just a great actor, you’re a unbelievably sound human being, something we all need to be before we’re anything else!!
Pay Parity does not necessary mean JUST money. It reflects the value that is being given to the actors. When two actors starting at the same time are given different amount, you are saying that the male actor is more valuable than a female. Pay Parity does not mean the talk and the conversation is about getting 'rich' or "don't chase behind the money".
Rani you ll always be my favourite and kabhi alvida na kehna is a movie that I watched like 100 times and still mesmerise me and will watch it 100 times more ❤️
This is such a nuanced interview, kudos to the interviewer. I am in awe of Rani and always have been but in this interview, you get the glimpse of her admirable personality like never before. Esp 21:15

Yes but in case of two relatively newer actors also, male gets paid higher than female. They have mentioned that in many round tables. Anushka's opinion about big and small room is to represent discrimination. Correctly said would be everyone should get what they deserve. But disparity of any kind based on gender is not correct
It was a charming interview to watch, but I am absolutely disappointed by her take on the Equality debate. The point here is about fair and equal treatment of the female actors. And not about "wasting time" over trivial issues, because pay parity isn't one. On the other hand, when she wondered if there would be any audience to see her, I wish she was instead thinking to rewrite the rules. Just like the example that she has given of Meryl Streep.
You know what Rani, if everyone would have said - I have a home and daughter and husband to take care of and I this issue don't bother me. - then perhaps, you would not have been allowed to work in a movie today. And by you, I mean any female. It is disappointing to see that you don't understand the power you have to make an impact and you don't understand your responsibility towards your society. And this has got nothing to do with your background or acting. It is every individual's responsibility. :(
She is sooo talented. And so knowledgeable compared to her contemporaries and the current set of heroines who only expose and no acting - today even the top actresses deliver very monotone lines in same pitch without voice modulation that rani and madhuri gives. Wish she did more movies. She is a treat to watch
Very very disheartened by her comments on wage equality in the industry. Anupama kept trying to find logic in the things she was saying but all in vain. Rani doesn't seem to realise that working hard and being good at your job have clearly not translated into wage equality, and the attitude that why 'waste time on such things' is what sustains the sexism in the industry. How do actors say such things? I cringed a hundred times during this interview. She seems to have become more inarticulate over the years.
All these ppl bandwagoning and bashing Rani on her opinion on ‘pay parity’. she is being a realist. She is talking purely on a business model. Her saying an actress should get the same as an actor would not change a thing when the business environment is not conducive. She also says things will change naturally. She is just being frank...look at Kangana, because of her back to back hits, she was paid more in Rangoon than Sahid and Saif. You can’t just impose your idealist idea when the ground reality is different.
Rani nailed it. "People who don't know how to act are talking about pay parity" , aka pretentious ppl like Sonam Kapoor. Rani is truly an intelligent actress, she is so bold and very genuine. Love you
She is so charming! So many beautiful actress but when they talk they r super boring. But the way she talks...u want to listen to her.Loved the fact that she doesn't have any opinion about pay parity. It's refreshing. Now a days everyone has to have an opinion. And looking forward to Rani-Ranveer movie!!!Thanks Anupama maam for lovely interview.
Rani addressed the pay parity issue so beautifully! I feel actor and actress both must get same pay however like Anupama said about khans even that was true!!! I like the fact that Rani knows and respects her root!!! Unlike other actors she doesn’t feel awkward discussing her age!!! Rani u nailed it!!!
I like Rani's perspective on pay parity. When you pursue excellence, success and money will automatically come to you. You don't have to demand or chase it. She is speaking for herself and her journey and she is not entirely wrong. She is entitled to her opinion just like everyone else.
I am surprised to see negative comments via Rani's fan especially. One who has always followed Rani would never have judged the last 10 minutes debate at a superficial level. Firstly I thought even I will get disappointed but I am absolutely not. She presented her point of view crisp and clear. Loved her for being transparent. She clearly mentioned that this is her point of view and she believes in being honest to her craft more than money. Also if someone is good at his/her work, things you aim will naturally follow.
It's not about whether it's her character or not. It's just that many of us use lots of fillers in conversations and that can annoy after sometime. She could be a better speaker without 'you know' 'you see's
It is so disappointing to see women talk like this in an age where they need to come forward and address such issues. Yes, feminism to one may not necessarily mean what it means to the other, but eventually the core idea of equality stays the same. Did she really mean to say that women coming forward and demanding for an equal pay are not good actors? Bizarre I say!!
married to a studio that explicitly practices pay-parity. how the heck u expect her to take a stand ? jesus is she suggesting u earn by cutting ribbons but not ask for equal pay.!! why not rani ? you say you are a people observer and then u turn blind to a basic right of an artist putting tons of efforts and time , who have to pay their bills and support their life. #lostrespect
FIVE THINGS I NOTICED IN THIS INTERVIEW !
1.SHE IS THE ONLY ACTRESS WHO SAID CONFIDENTLY "Im Turning 40" @20:20
2.SHE LOOKS SO CONFIDENT AFTER MARRIAGE.
3.REALITY CHECK COMES WHEN SHE SAYS"I Don't Want To Act If 20 People Are Not Even Showing Up To See Me".

SHE EITHER DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT PAY PARITY MEANT OR DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH SELF RESPECT TO SEE PAY PARITY AS AN ISSUE.

What a spectacular interview it was, love you Rani, I really loved the every single thing Rani explained.

She's a producer's wife so she needs to watch what she says regarding such things or tomorrow headlines would be screaming saying she is slamming producers for not paying enough
i think ppl are just making a fuss over the pay parity issue. but it's an individual thing. yes, we can all worry about what is right vs. wrong. but she says it flat out thts not her main focus as her craft is everything and all her energy is put into that. whereas who gets a bigger hotel room is not something she is concerned with. you have to realize she is a multi-millionaire, the richest actress of our times now that she is married to Aditya Chopra. she could be bothered less whether she is paid 1 crore more or 1 crore less than her male counterpart. all she cares about is what her fans think of her performances. bcoz in the grand scheme of things, she lives a comfortable life outside of films so she dsnt have to create stress for herself on who is getting paid how much. get it, people. that's why she said this her personal opinion. don't make it a political topic.
also, she is right. if you are a SRIDEVI for example, you were always paid more than her male counterparts. she had that charisma and talent to bring that many people into the theatre. you always wanted to check out the latest Sridevi movie because she brought something magical each time. in films, salary is all about how much bankable you are as a star. can you bring in more money than what the producer has put into the film making? so if you are a sridevi, money will automatically follow and you will be paid more than a Jeetendra or a Rishi Kapoor even if they may be equal or even senior to her in terms of years in cinema or experience. let's be honest here, is there any Sridevi in our current rat race of actresses? i would say none, maybe Rani comes close. And Rani lately has been doing heroine centric roles like NOKJ, Aiyyaa, Mardaani and now Hichki so she is getting paid more than any male co-actor. but it's not something she is going to boast about since its a trivial matter. her main agenda is doing the best kind of work. i think most other actresses are just simply worried about their airport looks than their craft? so all these actresses like Sonam Kapoor who think they have had one NEERJA, now deserve to be paid more than their male-counterpart need a reality check. can Sonam really bring in more crowd into the theatre than a Ranveer Singh who is even more junior to her? i don't think so. work on your acting prowess, Sonam beta then ask for more money if you think you deserve more!
Lol
Kamal Hassan ❤ and Mani Sir are Lit
I think Hichki is one of the best unique films that Bollywood and YRF banner has ever produced from the issue at hand, screenplay and Rani gave her career best inch perfect performance in it
Happy and surprised to see Anupama is a Tamil-alphabet printed dress
I love her voice. Most Beautiful voice on bollywood.
Rani the only Rani Jee…… the true beauty of Bengal….. bless you mate…. Love from London
My thoughts as well!
Lovely interview Rani and Anupama. Love Ranis genuinity. She is truly one of my best actor.
So down to earth and one of the finest actress in the Bollywood industry
Now thats my queen
Confident n gorgeous
Love.......
The last 10 minutes of this interview were so so so disappointing. She contradicted herself several times. Sad.
Agreed. Especially the last questions about what's more important.. box office performance, audience adulation, or her own need to act in different roles to feel creatively satisfied. She thinks she knows it all and is "sorted" but it really doesn't come across that ways.
mimika mukherjee Absolutely
A film has many careers at stake, even actors who have retired when they make a comeback want it to be commercially viable because a movie can make or break the careers of spot boys, ADs, writers and so on. Plus films require money lol.
A film has many careers at stake, even actors who have retired when they make a comeback want it to be commercially viable because a movie can make or break the careers of spot boys, ADs, writers and so on. Plus films require making money lol otherwise she wouldn't get roles anymore
She sounded less like an actor and more like a wife who didn't want to say anything that could go against her producer husband
But I did agree to her point. It's okay to have mindset focusing on skill rather than money.
She talks so much sense!!
Forget anyone else, Rani has the most amazing pair of eyes.
Absolutely 🤩
Wow, rani Mukherjee after so much time, missed her alot
One of the best well spoken actress 😘
Beauty with brain 🥺✨❤️🧡
Love her sooooo much 🥺✨❤️🧡
One of the best interviews,no time waste questions to the point.one of the few times where the host was genuinely interested in knowing the guest experiences👍
Cannot believe Rani's answer on PAY PARITY....
Aishwarya Net she just really doesn't get it.
i think ppl are just making a fuss over the pay parity issue. but it's an individual thing. yes, we can all worry about what is right vs. wrong. but she says it flat out thts not her main focus as her craft is everything and all her energy is put into that. whereas who gets a bigger hotel room is not something she is concerned with. you have to realize she is a multi-millionaire, the richest actress of our times now that she is married to Aditya Chopra. she could be bothered less whether she is paid 1 crore more or 1 crore less than her male counterpart. all she cares about is what her fans think of her performances. bcoz in the grand scheme of things, she lives a comfortable life outside of films so she dsnt have to create stress for herself on who is getting paid how much. get it, people. that's why she said this her personal opinion. don't make it a political topic.

Spoken like a producer’s wife!
Well I believe that it was truely justified, considering that she said she did films to learn and do better and not to fake feminism or to fake social awareness like Anushka, Sonam etc. who are much more about these illusions rather than performing their best on screen.
Rani may be an actress but she is still HUMAN she is not perfect I dnt understand why ppl scrutinize every bit of thing she speaks, it's RIDICULOUS, she is an excellent actor she really doesn't care what ppl say AND SHE DID MENTION THAT
Right
She's a real Rani 👑👑
Wow anupama dress especially Tamil letters 💜
Poorvi Shukla - completey agree with you
Lots of love Rani Mam. More films to go.
SHE EITHER DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT PAY PARITY MEANT OR DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH SELF RESPECT TO SEE PAY PARITY AS AN ISSUE.
SHE IS MARRIED TO ADI CHOPRA WHICH MEANS CRITICISING PAY GAP WOULD IMPLICATE HER HUSBAND.
True !! Never thought from this perspective.
i think ppl are just making a fuss over the pay parity issue. but it's an individual thing. yes, we can all worry about what is right vs. wrong. but she says it flat out thts not her main focus as her craft is everything and all her energy is put into that. whereas who gets a bigger hotel room is not something she is concerned with. you have to realize she is a multi-millionaire, the richest actress of our times now that she is married to Aditya Chopra. she could be bothered less whether she is paid 1 crore more or 1 crore less than her male counterpart. all she cares about is what her fans think of her performances. bcoz in the grand scheme of things, she lives a comfortable life outside of films so she dsnt have to create stress for herself on who is getting paid how much. get it, people. that's why she said this her personal opinion. don't make it a political topic.

ManiRatnam is a Genius in film making ..!! ❤
I agree with her. I do not know why ppl are not disputing in the commnets but she clearly said that money is not her thing and she doesn't care about it all she cares about is her performance. She takes her profession as a job and wants a normal life basically.
I didn’t think she said anything disappointing she is just stating the obvious and being honest
Love the interview but rani at 10:52 addressing people as 'Gora' is such a regressive thing to say. This is purely the root of racism which may not be reflecting in a negative way but why call people by a race. Just call them foreigners.
They are gora in color calling them gora isn't insensitive by any stretch ....you know they too refer themselves as whites, blacks and Browns
People abroad aren't just goras... there's other races beyond Caucasian and Indian and she doesn't grasp this concept
Anas Grey Indians are referred as browns in general ...get over it
I have seen all the replies here and it's not that I'm hurt by her views or anything.
Ugh the character arch!! It started in one note ended in another.
I just loved her and using her word U see! Aswell. Great human being
17:50 Who misses Old Bollywood? 💙💜
Aishwarya Net yes!
Aishwarya Net I do! I kinda got all emotional! :') The good old days ❤
She is genuine, very genuine. You see !!!
The last 10 minutes spoiled the virtue of first 25 minutes!!!! 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you for the Masterclass for the people who are aspiring to be an actors /artist. God bless✨🙏🏻
Rani's take on reasons to takingup acting as a profession is what ananya pandey should listen to
Extremely talented actress
So blessed to meet my all time favourite #Rani :') :') 😍😍😍... Thank you so much #AnupamaChopra and #filmcompanion ❤
And this interview 👍👍👍
All I can see is Anupama wearing a shirt with Tamil alphabets in it :D :D
Kamal Hassan God....of acting
Very well spoken! Great interview.
For me Mardaani is my all time favorite bollywood movie. Rani...You made me a fan! I really hope you keep doing kickass characters in the future!
❤😊
Pay Parity does not necessary mean JUST money. It reflects the value that is being given to the actors. When two actors starting at the same time are given different amount, you are saying that the male actor is more valuable than a female. Pay Parity does not mean the talk and the conversation is about getting 'rich' or "don't chase behind the money".
Kamal Hassan 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥andarvar dhaaaa🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
So well spoken.. so down to earth.. what a lady ❤
Thank you for sharing this interview !!
Rani you ll always be my favourite and kabhi alvida na kehna is a movie that I watched like 100 times and still mesmerise me and will watch it 100 times more ❤️
Rani says ( indirectly) that Sonam should learn acting.. Good One!
Even if she say it directly sonam cannot act.
Drinking game: take a shot every time she says 'you see'
Main toh bhand ho gaya already.
This is such a nuanced interview, kudos to the interviewer. I am in awe of Rani and always have been but in this interview, you get the glimpse of her admirable personality like never before. Esp 21:15
Naman Mukesh Chaudhary totally relate with her at 21:15

Yes but in case of two relatively newer actors also, male gets paid higher than female. They have mentioned that in many round tables. Anushka's opinion about big and small room is to represent discrimination. Correctly said would be everyone should get what they deserve. But disparity of any kind based on gender is not correct
Best of the best comments in recent times ..
The last 10 min of the interview was rather disappointing.
Best parts:
7:14 - 8:18
14:27 - 19:30
Worst Parts:
Last 10 minutes with senseless points put by Rani.
Rani Mukerji sabhi heroino se no.1 hai. Rani Mukerji ke aage sabhi kam hai . Rani Mukerji mera fevourite hai 😍😍🥰🥰
Oh my god i M only halfway in the interview n i am enjoying it!!! Rani lovely!!! Anu stop reviewing!!! Keep interviewing!!! #SKTKS
4:38 about kamal hassan
Loved the interview.she is the most secured actress.
4:29 on my hero Kamal Hassan
Did anyone count how many times she said "you know". Most of her sentences either start or end with "you know"
Akash Chandrashekhar also ‘You see’
Akash Chandrashekhar I lost count how many times she said "you see" lol
It's not about whether it's her character or not. It's just that many of us use lots of fillers in conversations and that can annoy after sometime. She could be a better speaker without 'you know' 'you see's
It is so disappointing to see women talk like this in an age where they need to come forward and address such issues. Yes, feminism to one may not necessarily mean what it means to the other, but eventually the core idea of equality stays the same. Did she really mean to say that women coming forward and demanding for an equal pay are not good actors? Bizarre I say!!
fantastic actress
married to a studio that explicitly practices pay-parity. how the heck u expect her to take a stand ?
jesus is she suggesting u earn by cutting ribbons but not ask for equal pay.!! why not rani ? you say you are a people observer and then u turn blind to a basic right of an artist putting tons of efforts and time , who have to pay their bills and support their life. #lostrespect
Well, at least someone thinks it's not necessary to have an opinion on everything! It's refreshing...
One of the best interviews!!
she looks so fucking young and beautiful
Ur literally fav from the 90's also Madhuri Dixit ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
yessss my fav actress Rani :)
