My friend who was in Surat was in such a shock that she couldn't sleep for months.
My nephew who was in 4th std and was on his way to school,( Ahmedabad)was riding a bicycle for 26th January's function suddenly fell down and saw people just got disappeared like swolled by earth in front of his eyes. With God's grace he was fine and returned bk home safely on his own.🙏

In year 2001, due to earthquake whole Gujarat was affected but especially epicentre was Bhuj ( Kutch region). All major cities of Gujarat had massive destruction like Ahmedabad, Surat , Vadodara( also known as Baroda), and Rajkot.

Mujhe aaj bhi yaad h wo din, 26 January ka din tha, sbh tyar hoker school me celebrate krne gye the wapis ghar aaye to ye news sun ne ko mili. Hame Rajasthan me bhi Mahsus hue tha earthquake but normal sa hi feel hua tha. Un homeless logo ke liye Tent, food, clothes, medicine etc ke liye pure desh se donation gya tha , hmari choti si school thi usse bhi hmne donation liya tha .
