Ahh yeah, Platinum Egoiste was probably my first big fragrance crush in my journey. I got hooked by Fahrenheit, but even after having tried tons of fragrances, Platinum Egoiste still blew my mind, and it continues to. So good, and yes, it's a true man's fragrance.

I'm a big Amouage fan. I have 14 from them and counting but the best one for me is Memoir Man. Ultra masculine, unique, and a compliment monster.

Amazing fragrance but weak projection. Skin scent within an hour after spraying..I got multiple chances to buy it but poor longevity put me off everytime and I'm glad I didn't buy it. Better options out there..

I think this whole alpha fragrance topic is very interesting and for some people even offends them. To me it is like you explained.
My fav unapologetic alpha fragrances when I want to make a statement: Myths Man, Figment Man, Lapidus pour homme (1987). Myths makes me feel like an emperor on a battlefield after my army slaughtered 10s of thousands. Figment is more posh, kind of an animalic Bleu de Chanel and Lapidus is a vintage pissy honey powerhouse!
