This video explains quickly and very clearly how fossils (or living beings) are classified in the so-called 'classical' or Linnean classification, invented during the 18th century by the Swedish scientist Karl Von Linné.
This video has been put online for beginners in geology, in particular in License 1 and 2 at the University, or for high school students in science.
