I did the maiden flight and maiden+1 on my Eflite SR71 - did not use SAFE as I find it is really had to feel as if you have control - mine was like a bullet - and very Pointy..... LOL I had both fins RED not one... landing was so easy glide it in and apply up elevator to plonk it down - Well done on your Maiden Flight ..
I would have been scared of smashing the nose while landing. I have a new FMS f16 64mm V2. For belly landing just land her flat? I did the maiden landing high Alpha but the nose got into the grass. Nothing terrible but probably not good to repeat it often … best regards from south east Bavaria !
