The vacancies are based on the Corporation's requirements for a particular post in a zone.
For South zone, in the year 2019, Manager (Technical) vacancies were not there, however there were 09 vacancies for Manager (General).

check the recent QCI recruitment notification . There is a great opportunity for food technology graduates. As this is only for food science and tech graduates competition will be minimal. If u crack this exam u will be directly recruited to IAS level gazetted post.

Most of the notifications we saw only had Masters as the required eligibility where PG was required. M.Tech or MSc wasnt specified

For food processing, you can study from your regular college notes and study material as it will cover the food processing part. For the rest if the sections, you can refer to basic materials online. Previous year questions are not available online, only few sites might be showing memory based questions.

Different colleges have different criteria for their admission.
Some colleges like NIFTEM and IIFPT accept JEE score.
Some through state entrance exams or just by considering 12th marks
Any specific training required for state food safety officer....
There is no prerequisite training required to appear for the FSO exam. If you meet the eligibility criteria then you can appear for the exam

Yes, Food technology ke alawa bhi bht disciplines h ASRB- ARS me. Agar apki PhD Dairy Technology me h to aap Dairy Technology ki vacancy keliye eligible h. ARS-2016 me more than 30 disciplines me vacancy thi, to aap apni specialisation ke basis pr us particular discipline me eligible honge.

The eligibility criteria is such that only a few degrees have been specifically mentioned to be eligible. Even BTech Food Technology is not eligible directly. But with an equivalency certificate stating that BTech Food Technology is an equivalent degree to BSc Food Technology (which is mentioned among the eligible qualification), BTech Food Technology becomes eligible. We do not know specifically for your course. You ll have to check with your college or university and see if your degree can get an equivalency certificate.

This video might help you a bit to know about the scope after food technology. Also, this decision completely depends on your interest for the subjects. For placements, there are a lot of food companies but a lot of hard work with your knowledge would be required to reach a good position in the industry.

For being a Professor or Associate Professor you would first need to be an Asst Professor. With years of experience and other works like paper publishing you would then be eligible.
