He is about tRump and China, but that’s it. I’m absolutely amazed how many people accept politicians at their word, without checking their record, _when we have the internet that makes it so easy!_ Drives me NUTS! But what _I_ want to know is, *why Anderson Cooper and his ilk have never once mentioned one of the most vindictive acts of misuse of office by an elected official to retaliate against an “opponent” I’ve heard of. That would be “Bridgegate,” which happened soon after Christie had been elected Governor of New Jersey. He was so pissed off that the Democratic mayor of Fort Lee, NJ had not endorsed his race that one day at the beginning of the morning rush hour over the busiest bridge in the United States, Christie ordered that 2 lanes going to NYC be suddenly closed, and they remained closed for 5 DAYS, with no explanation. Naturally, this was a catastrophe for commuters who were boxed inside an enormous parking lot of cars through Fort Lee, which also affected people needing emergency services….. *all because of a childish, vindictive, antisocial baby who could not let that mayor get away with having his own opinion.* I’d cite a source for this, but this event was so widely reported at the time that are so many reported versions on the internet that people can check it out using their favorite platform. *Christie’s way more dangerous than tRump, in my opinion, because he’s close to being as antisocial as tRump but he’s much more intelligent.

And even fundraise off of it. In this way by those who also defending them, it shifts public attention while they maintain political initiative and ultimately, to avoid an internal political crisis within their own party. Just saying no one is above the law.

Why do you have to keep saying it's the truth so much? Are you trying to convince someone?
I read that indictment. It’s unusually detailed and long; it looks watertight to me, with overwhelming evidence. If they have those recordings that they claim to have (and there’s no reason to suppose they don’t) then trump will be found guilty without doubt. If Christie is right, that they have much more to dump on trump at the actual trial, it’s a slam dunk.
The real question is, how do you punish an ex-president? Some of those charges carry a 5 year minimum sentence, and up to 20 years! Just for ONE of those 13 charges! Since he will remain entitled to secret service protection, they cannot send the agents to jail? My solution would be to strip his Florida home of all luxury items after an enforced purchase by the government and use that location for a home confinement. You can put a secret service detachment on sight, and rotate members, so that no individual is able to serve more than 6 months on that detail, while a separate security team is hired to do the day to day stuff of looking after a presidential prisoner. But that’s just me.
Somebody better give that quandary some thought . . .
