When visiting my old country I attended an outdoor concert. The male skater was very skilled and was able to hold his partner, who weighed more, over his head with one hand while skating gracefully. When the concert ended I stayed in the area until everyone was gone. I put on my ice skates and went out on the ice. I was all alone surrounded by the colorfully illuminated buildings in the nighttime air. It was a magical experience. A line from the Titanic movie came to mind and I yelled "I'M KING OF THE WORLD!" For that moment I truly was king of the world all alone on the ice.
Every Andre Rieu's production is a masterpiece, featuring the top artists on stage & backstage also!! Perfection every time, not to forget the immeasurable joy & pleasure he brings to the vast audiences!! Long may he continue!!
