I disagree. S:P gives the deck a really rough time. It’s both an incredible out to Battle Ocean and a quality piece of interruption against the strategy. You can’t use S:P yourself and TY PHON doesn’t work that well either because you lock yourself into water monsters so early. The popularity of DD crow rising (because it’s good in the same matchups as the bystials, but it also beats purrely) is very bad for Marincess. I been playing runick stun for the format since everyone is playing tons of handtraps and just clogs their hands when the only interaction they can do is ash the fountain or hugin, and having a decent amount of floodgates to slow the Game down to the point they can't do nothing is always free wins, specially against unchained and most of the top and random decks, the only one you kind of struggle is of course lab (erradicator) and rescue but thats what your side deck is for.

I didn’t think Unchained had enough space for all the Handtraps needed to beat Rescue Ace. Then I got hosed at the YCS because I’m not very good at Purrely
cyber dragon, plays non engine, can side floodgates for going first, can play through some boards, basically in engine thrust, and raigeki but beats towers and if responded to gets you therion king regulus, which since its all machines is basically 2 free interrupts with a card, pretty consistent, easy to otk because of sieger and power bond both being very accessible, honestly t3 or t2, leaning towards t3
This actually looks like a very healthy format for now…until Konami decides to print the next powercreeping sh*t or until players get so bored about “stale formats” that they jinx it themselves once again by wishing for Konami to change things up (which we know always ends up in utter chaos and unbalanced formats).
Honestly? Not bad. The only issue is lack of non-engine and the Dark Angel play having inconsistent impact on the meta due to so many Rescue Aces running around. I wouldn't feel bad playing it right now.

What do u guys think about Sharks? It was always a rouge deck but it got support and became a little bit stronger.
What do you think of plunder patroll? I have no idea if they are good rn
jooo whats your opinion on gizmek uka + barrier statue as a ht?
What do you think about RDA (pure & bystial build)?
I think regular live twin spright is solid rn if your playing a non runic spright deck
this format is amazing. I love that we have so much diversity rn. As a Dragon Link player, being able to play in this format is the most fun its been in a long time.
I want to see Dark World in this Tier List. The Gen and Ken support is really nice. Are people sleeping on this?
Which would be a good recursion/draw deck?
Josh, have you tried spright synchro?
no, what Synchro engine/combo are we talking?
@@JoshuaSchmidtYGO missed the reply
notification, but i think you can find a profile if you search for spright bystial syncho. usually ends in baronne, dis pater, masq into lk, and your rank 2 of chosing. real fun real consistant
Is there anyway to play IDS in current format? Winda is still a broken ass floodgate, right?
can you please rate tellarknights! were the forgotten deck that claps all these tier 2 decks
Wo würde finstere Welt landen, Tier 2 oder 3 ?
Where would you place dark world? tier 2 or 3 ?
Man is cracked
Fire kings deck impact the meta?
So y don't u have horus variants on the list? Right now I am playing horus adventure pk. It's surprisingly good against a lot of decks.
Putting Runick Tier 2 and winning the YCS. Classic 😁
Opinions on therion punk for this format?
I’ve been on my own brew of Bystial centurion with resonator engine and by god it’s beautiful
What about doing 2 ash, 2 imperm, 2 nib or veiler, 2 talents, 2 thrust, and 2 droplet or dark ruler?
What's your take on pk-horus?
What you think if weather painters boss. I know they die to hsnd traps but shifter can hold thier hsnds
In your opinion where would crystal beast combo go into
Should I play pure spright w melffy or just spright runick then?
Do you wanna lose fast or slow? If fast melffy and if slow runick
@@Baby_BagelI’ve been consistently going 3-1 at locals wdym?
Great job, where can I see these meta pie charts.
the site is called Duel Chronicles
In my mind runick stun is better then another runicks. The hand traps are dead vs it and there are more space. (Something like 9 free cards)
Opinion on Ghoti, Traptrix, or Resonator?
wait a second josh. didnt you just mention in another video about floo abusing thrust for feather storm? everytime my oppp uses droll on me it cost them the match lol. not to mention you have econ/book/advent that plays around targeting handtraps.
it doesnt make the deck unplayable because it has those ways around it, but it still makes it so you need to open a starter + one of those cards which is less likely than just needing to open playable
@@JoshuaSchmidtYGO nah you play 7 pots 3 thrust 3 storm 1 called by post side. so 14 cards. typically you play pot first so that way you see thrust. if your opp drolls you then they just loose. also not to mention that if you have advent in hand you chain advent to search toccan then map eff to dump dreaming town and get it back then you have follow up bc you banished another bird in hand.
unless they have ash and droll
Blackwings?
Metalfoes is pretty good right now
*EUROPEAN FIELD SPELL BONUS* I lost it
I been playing runick stun for the format since everyone is playing tons of handtraps and just clogs their hands when the only interaction they can do is ash the fountain or hugin, and having a decent amount of floodgates to slow the Game down to the point they can't do nothing is always free wins, specially against unchained and most of the top and random decks, the only one you kind of struggle is of course lab (erradicator) and rescue but thats what your side deck is for.
Any thoughts on traptrix?
Tier 3 deck but not the worst
The guy that got mathmech circular limited talking how bad the deck is without 3 circulars and how competitively viable it would be with 3 copies so you could hard open with it.
How about Horus PK adventure?
Mathmech has the firewall package tho
Lol swordsoul tier 3. Trippin
Dino best deck, let’s gooo!!! Local legend
No traptrix?
Still riding Swordsoul copium
Where do you see z arc
were is ogdoadic? its actualy a realy insaine deck right now.
I dont know much about it honestly so you would probably know better 😅
Where is pk horus at?
I was hoping to see Pk Brave Horus on here
Infernoble and mannadium is definitely over tear and labrynth
thoughts on bystial resonator horus?
This deck is so insane against tier 2 decks, the red dragon cards has so many plays AFTER handtraps
solid Tier 2 I think
I was in this situation myself before YCS Richmond. I saw that Unchained put up poor results in Indianapolis, so I got scared off of the deck and switched to Purrely. I didn’t think Unchained had enough space for all the Handtraps needed to beat Rescue Ace. Then I got hosed at the YCS because I’m not very good at Purrely
cyber dragon, plays non engine, can side floodgates for going first, can play through some boards, basically in engine thrust, and raigeki but beats towers and if responded to gets you therion king regulus, which since its all machines is basically 2 free interrupts with a card, pretty consistent, easy to otk because of sieger and power bond both being very accessible, honestly t3 or t2, leaning towards t3
massive copium
Its a tier 2 deck for sure, it only got better since we got the therion cards
@@yy5173 i know, this is extremally biased, idgaf, its my opinion as someone who isn't that good
@@godzilia2based comment
very cool very swag
What about scareclaw?
Centurion is definitely one of the decks of all time
This actually looks like a very healthy format for now…until Konami decides to print the next powercreeping sh*t or until players get so bored about “stale formats” that they jinx it themselves once again by wishing for Konami to change things up (which we know always ends up in utter chaos and unbalanced formats).
Not including Fire Kings is craaazy
is not even out yet
it will be for ycs bologna@@rapalborde5211
Im hoping that i can make Salad work in this format😅
Heros?
The best deck ever created
Honestly? Not bad. The only issue is lack of non-engine and the Dark Angel play having inconsistent impact on the meta due to so many Rescue Aces running around. I wouldn't feel bad playing it right now.
So Plants have just become the best deck possible, eh?
As a salamangreat enjoyer, do you think the accesscode engine is superior to the violet chimera engine? Both are pretty high commitment imo, and I havent had much success with either one.
just dont play both, rather play more salamangreats in the ED. Im maining salad and always go like x-1 on very competitive locals. You can almost always otk without the package. and if you cannot just grind your opponent out
can anything bring swordsoul back from the grave ?
Is that a literall question? If yes then the tenyi link 2.
bruh no
I meant bring it up back to tier 2@@Zolgea
Well, he called it. EU plants are going to win again.
Rikka is obviously too low, def tier 1.5
I mean the best deck is share if you play, always has been
Make Shaddolls Great Again
Lab is not tier 1 😭 i beat that deck so much with Traptrix
Lab player, I don't think I've ever lost a traptrix matchup at my locals ever, maybe you were up against shitty Lab players but your deck literally struggles to out a single Lady with 2 backrow, while also your entire board instantly dies to daruma karma cannon
@@ainevek we can run it on master duels buddy 🥷🏽
Let's go Centurion
